Pretty solid punchline, but I have to praise the execution. Like how there is exactly one droplet firming. Really cool picture

Archon Studios recently introduced a mayor new technology into the hobby with Prismcast. This “printer” basically paints curved 2,5 D surfaces which you glue together to make a fully 3D model. AFAIK there is no way to make this technology in 3D

Honesty they are pretty average for prepainted miniatures. Painted miniatures at this scale is just not something that’s easy to do or cheap.

- Comment on Subnautica 2 Dev Vlog - Road to Early Access 2 months ago:
Imo below Zero has the same problem that subnautica 2 will have aswell. Our stupid pattern seeking brain i so good at its job the enviroment will matches to existing experinces and therefore loose its intended alien nature. Just having some meta knowledge with how the game handle difficulty and depth and how a lush biome is more or less save with just a minor predator is working against the intended alien nature. Below Zero had some incredible bioms with mayor layers of depth like the lilypads islands with surfacing, floating and growing lilypads. But most of the bioms had some subtle telling of how the are intended in their color Palette or choice of Vegetation where i knew how the biome will be before i went info it.

There are just so many good games coming out. Its really a struggle to even play a Part of them

And im so freaking glad it does. It seemed like a passion project with an incredible art direction, but to learn its also a stellar game is so satisfying.

Counterpoint, I love the pure absence of taste that some high quality Wodka has. I think it’s fascinating how even water seems to taste more in comparison.

Really cool. I was scared of this game reviewing bad. The artstyle on the overall tone of the game hooked me since that first trailer where death played the guitar.

Because you used therms like “simpler” and “one dimensional” which makes your answer seem like you look down on these games and people you enjoy them.
- Comment on Upscaling is actually good (as an option) 2 months ago:
Upskaling is a fabolous technology and the split that quality needs to do between hardware upgrades and software support. Overall the existence of the technology is definitly a positive one.
However people are worried about a development that we are already seeing where games are just not efficient with their resources and require way to much computing power. People are afraid studios will decrease the amount of work they put into optimising because they feel like Upskaling will solve all perfomance problems for them. But optimisation needs to happen on both parts. That’s what people are afraid of.
