I love that we have a law called “causing a nuisance without reasonable excuse”

IMHO, many coppers should be charged with such.

The laws don’t apply to the police, that’s why they always park like bellends.

I think there’s a reasonable excuse: it’s pretty fucking funny.

‘mucking about’ should be legal term imho,

Until 2022 it carried a maximum sentence of life imprisonment. en.wikipedia.org/…/Police,_Crime,_Sentencing_and_…

In their defense, a public nuisance can theoretically be very nuisant.

He claims it was a crow outfit, but the article says it looked like a death outfit. The article also claims he was brandishing a large knife (which for me, dampens the small amount of immature humor that was there) - but it doesn’t mention him being given any offensive weapons charges (which he would definitely get in the UK).

So I suspect it was a plastic knife, and I suspect it was actually a crow outfit (and that him being on the roof is significant)… I suspect he was play acting as crow with a knife in its beak.

Given how the article is written, I think the media has omitted that it was a plastic knife, and decided it would get more clicks if they say he was dressed as death. Play acting as a Crow with a knife in its beak for a friend in hospital is a lot more mentally healthy and wholesome than pretending to be death and brandishing a large knife on hospital grounds (which is not funny for me, and kind of a psycho move).

So I choose to believe him, and that the media would twist a story like this into clickbait. It also makes more sense, given he was on the roof, and that he didn’t get a knife charge, and says himself it was a crow outfit.

I’d like to invite that man to tour the various USA federal government offices while our “leaders” are present.

That’ll go well for the man… Not like people are getting snapped up in the streets over there for doing less (or nothing, or only good).

True, but at least he’d definitely fall into the "doing good’ category.

At Wacken 2009 I saw a guy dressed as the Grim Reaper chasing an ambulance across the campground, screaming: „YOUR NOT GONNA GET AWAY THIS EASY!!!“
