Give the next group the same equipment they had when filming “The Original Series”, only allowing studio effects with a rare exception for graphical effects on removing wires and whatnot.
Hire Trekkies to make it.
Watch what happens. Trekkies know love. Enough of this walking on the hulls of really fast space ships with blurry stars streaking by, Magnetic boots are for punching Borg, in the rarest of extremes. Leave the action sequences to whatever is left of “Star Wars” and stick with what you do best.

I’m not saying I don’t want more Star Trek, but I have no issues with watching all of the older series (yes, even Enterprise) over and over, until something that deserves the title comes along and actually understands what the show was really about.
The actors are pretty damned good, but I’d rather them use the budget from the fancy sfx and make more episodes based on deeper stories.

Disco was mostly terrible (Hemmer was one of the best characters of all time tho) but Disco gave us SNW, which gave us hope.
SNW shit the beds a bit less, but it still stinks on the Enterprise. I love Muppets & even a musical episode could’ve been fine if the show wasn’t limited to 10 episodes a season…
It might be a while before we get another real Trek, the merger isn’t going to help.
We just need a real showrunner who doesn’t go to sleep in guilded Star Wars jammies.

Yes, it is Chrono Trigger, arguably the best RPG of all time.

It’s easily the best port, way better than the PS1, PC or Mobile version. New game+, it has two extra “chapters/features” (they are okay-ish) and the original graphics remain intact, with minor improvements.
As for the second screen, it is used to display the map, stats, and menus while not in battle, and used for commands whilst in battle (thus freeing up the entire top screen for animations)

When you’re traveling through the desolation that is Midwest US, you’ll notice there’s a lot of shell stations. They’re kind of like “Casey’s” (except you hear about “Casey’s” more because of the pizza) located in many small towns that have only a dollar store with a refrigerated section as the only source of groceries. Food deserts full of 200 pound children riding electric scooters while staring at their phone. It’s terrible.
…I digress
A fun fact… in the Midwest US; the reason so many small towns are 14 miles apart is that’s how far a horse could carry a full wagon in a single day. So they built train stops every 14 miles. And somehow, 125+ years later, those lil towns still exist. They grow the corn that becomes syrup in candy and soda & whatnot. Also those towns all have a “Shell” station because of some backroom handshake deals done a long time ago.
