No shit. For one thing, the oled model steam deck is 2 years old and has had a price increase of at least $200 USD,
and they stopped selling the cheaper LCD variant.
People could afford them at $549. People can't afford them at $789. People are also less likely to buy what is essential a console at an increased price when it's 2+ years old hardware and the price of everything else is rising.
PS5 and Xbox One X sales have also fallen as the price increased.
It's not rocket science. The market can't afford to bear such high prices for regular consumers and AI firms aren't buying steam decks or consoles. Consumer PC sales are also tanking.
