I remember when i visited I thought it was kind of crazy. Basically the main time for nightlife goes until last train and it’s a mad dash of people trying to catch the last train to get home otherwise your Basically stranded for the night which then your options are hotels or a very expensive taxi.

I think theres a stigma around that rule more than it has anything to do with it being libertarian. The later bars are allowed to be open the worse of a look it gives the neighborhood. It could bring unwanted types of people in since those are the only people they believe would be drinking at 3am, as well as additional noise which could be disruptive if the bar is located next to residential places. I think its just seen as a bad look which is why its restricted. I am also someone who doesn’t really care, but i guess location should matter in what time is the latest it can stay open. I grew up visiting NY a lot and they are a perfect example of who cares what time a bar closes and it was wonderful.

Not as crazy as i expected when clicking it. Still, gets harder and harder seeing places like this raise costs on stuff they could easily absorb the hit on yet rather pass the buck onto the consumer… for anyonr curious its a $1 increase to the 1 month and $3 increase to the 3 month, but nothing said about the annual plans.
So far i feel like i am super lucky. I set mine to autorenewal years ago and the extra years i brought before they changed the system and raised the prises got me by without worrying about the increase. They ended 2 years ago and i have only had to pay $80 a year for the full top tier subscription which i think is $150 a year. Just went through again a few months ago. I noticed if i cancel the auto renewal or try to pay for it outside this it will charge the full amount. So i will absolutely not change anything and happily accept this amazing glitch! From what i read online there are some others that had this happen as well and had to do with the extra years and services combined that made this somehow get stuck. Everyone says do not touch it! Maybe one day they will correct it, but here is hoping this lasts at least a few more years because i would not pay $150 anyway lol.

Only seen a little bit of the original, but SUV def fails this list for most of them. I havent seen it in years but even when new people replaced others they all had to have some sort of vice. Def more than a few of them had addictions, most were never married or divorced because the job ruined it. Not sure about the rest.

Change business models scares me. It sounds like the first steps towards exactly what the entire industry wants to become. No more hardware, just streaming devices where they own everything with the excuse of shortage manipulation. Good luck if it comes to that, it’s the first time I will say goodbye Sony since growing up with them from the beginning PS1 era.
Early 2000s i had everything, xbox, gamecube, ps2 and everything prior. Since then i only went with Sony getting a PS3, and PS4. No wii or wiiu or any xbox since the original. I did get a switch a few years after release, which was great as well, but idk about the switch 2 either. At this point its been PS5 and a gaming PC which I was lucky enough to build only a few years ago when prices came down for a short time and hope it lasts about 10 years. This will have to get me buy for the foreseeable future, and just hope the hardware doesnt fail first.

I love watching videos like this and thats honestly the one thing that makes me not watch them. My sweet spot is like 10 min and 15 min tops. Ill put it on 1.5x speed as well since little is lost, but anything over that feels like to much time invested into mostly mundane events.

A little hack I found about Costco is when I let my membership lapse and you don’t go for a bit try and wait 3 months if you can because if you pay before then the membership expires on the same date as it originally did, but if you wait 3 months it will have the new date to expire on saving you up to 2 extra months.

Depends on what stage its at. If you were to somehow manage the shit show of surviving through the beginning times and actually establish a system that works and one not ran by cult leaders then a free trade system could look really nice. The other problem with this would be the more people involved the more there may be people that disagree with this system since no matter what everyone has different opinions on what they want even if its a fully functional system. I also fear that ultimately, just as it is today, we would still be full of problems that most likely stem from world leaders that have to much power and fuck it all up for the rest of us.

I believe slow cooked bbq and smokers will aim for temps between 225 and 275 Fahrenheit. Sure it will take a while, but as long as the temp reaches the internal temp of 160 during this process, which it will, it’s perfectly fine.

No, maybe it’s because im older and never really got into the trends of caring about stuff like that. I just can’t see how the engine should matter. Either way to me if the game sucks and somehow it was due to limitations then thats still on the game since they picked to go with it to begin with.

Not that i stopped, and would absolutely have either if the opportunity ever presented its self again (probably not). I found that the older you get in general just makes it harder since, at least in my experience, you have way more to worry about that eats at you. Closer to death, more health issues, money could be worse than before, wife/husband and possibly kids to worry about. Stupid things i did in my early 20’s would never fly today just because I think things through way more and realize how bad those things were back then lol. Thankfully the few times i was able to do these things were all great experiences despite that, and its most likely to being with good friends who also joined.

Idk about the pills, but my wife has been on the shot since last year and it was $25 a month on my particular insurance plan in the US. This year insurance got worse and plan cost went up drastically. I now pay $50 a month, although we recently changed to get a 3 month supply and that came to $100 for the 3 months. Sounds ok i guess, but my insurance alone costs like $1400 a month or almost $17k a year… i would much rather pay $150 a month and save the 17k a year.

Instead of investing some of that money into attempting to create new good games, they only seem interested in buying other games that they feel will make them money.
