  I was at Kroger today. I bought two things: a six-pack of beer and a $50 assortment of explosives.

  The guy checking me out didn’t even make eye contact. It was such a mundane thing for him.

  I’m like… what a weird holiday.

  Oh you don’t need to wait for the 4th. When I was a teenager, some local kids were playing with fireworks and gasoline. I discovered this when I found the ambulance leaving the scene.
