I hate techs that think like this. Shit i can’t do a doctor’s job, I can’t do an architects job. I don’t expect them to do mine. In fact I want then to pay me all to do my job because they can’t do it.
Fuck you. Do you job better then them and be worthy of your money

This app depends the type of call center. You are very focused on sales call centers, which I have been a part of. But tech call or just customer service call centers are much more abundant. I have been a top performer metric wise in all 3. I was never a liar in the sales centers I worked in, I just provided facts backed up and let them handle themselves and worked for places that products weren’t shady. In the 2 centers I worked that had shadyish products, I achieved top performer quickly, but quit as I didn’t believe or care about the product. I’m the other centers I’ve been in yes, tier 1 were absolutely required to follow a script. These were usually people that had 0 clue about what they were doing, so a script was needed. Beyond that you had to hit basics, but at the higher tier 3 or beyond there was no scripting, just fix the issues.

And you still have to follow the script or you’ll be written up.

A business class is great? But a business degree is too far? Like I don’t honestly want to know how much you’ve been smoking before you made this comment. Studying and going to school and doing those things that lead you to what you want to do or not bad things. Like I don’t understand the whole thought process of half the people here on Lemmy.

You know I’m still waiting to see any of these ads. Soon as they pop up I’ll be switching but until that point I’m sticking with what I like.

I just used one of these on my gf yesterday to verify her shoe size at a puma store. So maybe the bench that we sit on is different, but that’s about all.

You used to make pretty good money being able to deliver the phone books too when they came out. It’s funny how people think the gig economy is new when we are doing everything we could to make money anyway possible. From delivering newspapers to phone books to door to door sales for advertising businesses in the phone book.

I had to do the axles on my trailer this year and honestly this is one of my first thoughts when I opened up the can of Greece as well. It kind of did look tasty.
- Comment on If it fits... 3 weeks ago:
Sure. Considering in some places it is legal in some places not legal it’s a pretty valid question overall.

My significant other being one of those people so I’ve heard a lot about it over the last 24 hours seeing all the posts seen post from all the coaches that were involved that have gotten laid off and just one of the communities on Facebook is somewhere in the neighborhood of 170,000 people.

It depends, but must of these lifts aren’t rated to lift themselves, so they would groan and make noise, but not go anywhere.

I mean that all depends on the organization whether they consider it organic or not and they’re not using man-made fertilizer and using natural fertilizers etc. I think quite more of the people that are into that type of lifestyle are more interested in eating organically which it’s more common to utilize something like a manure fertilizer.
- Comment on Life pro tip for friends of pharmacists 5 weeks ago:
Check out this guy. Still doesn’t understand what fertilizer is made of. Especially organic…
- Comment on Life pro tip for friends of pharmacists 5 weeks ago:
Don’t look at what being used to fertilize your fruits and vegetables. Don’t look at what being sprayed on any of those fruits and vegetables. Don’t look at any of the other pieces of the food chain.
- Comment on Life pro tip for friends of pharmacists 5 weeks ago:
They also have to remember that doesn’t count what gets put in the ground to fertilize that plant to make it grow.

I don’t know I’ve been to the waffle House in Colorado springs and it was actually pretty decent. I was actually kind of sad that I went there twice now and no fights. A legit asked the waitress about that since I’d never been to one before and I really wanted to see some shit happening. She said that I had just missed the six completely blitzed college chicks that got into a major fight in the middle of the restaurant.

I’m going to guess based off of the fact that the grass is yellowing and the sidewalks have obvious damage from weathering that this is going to be some place in a much more temperate area I’ve seen guys park like that in Utah.

If it’s so big. Fix it. If you can’t fix it but proving the facts, it’s not a fact. If you can prove it, and change it, do it. That’s literally what Wikipedia is about
