Also severe acute liver damage.
Generally kidney not liver for ibuprofen.
“Worst days” may be a bit extreme, but if you find yourself needed to take pain meds very frequently, talk to your doctor about which one(s) would be best to use regularly, given any other meds or medical problems you may have. They can also often prescribe longer-acting anti-inflammatories that only need to be taken once a day instead of 2-4 times a day.
That’s one hell of a reference!
I was a kid when it was out, and it’s the first time I found a film unctuous, and I started noting product placement and so on. It ruined my childhood.
His diction has improved immeasurably
Thanks, ET
could an alien still have the same moral standards that we have? if so, why?
Probably not the same but there would probably be a fair bit of overlap. Crossing huge distances to come to Earth would require a high degree of intelligence and cooperation which implies a social species. Likely that means they would have evolved to have empathy and social behaviours just like we did.
That’s my guess anyway, it’s a fun question to think about.
Fuck Putin? You mean fuck Ukraine, fuck NATO, and fuck imperialism
Uhhhh. I have four hernias in my spine…
Fuck Putin
Why not “Fuck Russia”?
Fuck Israel
Fuck Putin
What does it supposed to mean
Resist to what ?

E.T. came out in 1982. The oldest millennials would have been 2 years old. It’s a Gen-X movie. The rest of the text holds up tho.

Back in my day, kids watched movies that weren’t brand new.
Signed, a millennial who watched ET as a kid.

We got em years later on cassette at Blockbuster, and we would re-rent and re-watch our favorites sometimes.
There also weren’t as many movies to choose from, nor was it all available at our fingertips all the time.

Sure, but I have to imagine it was written with currently-alive kids in mind, not the not-yet-conceived. Now get off my lawn.

Gen X: the forgotten generation

I mean, the music snobbery of acting like we weren’t cool if we didn’t listen to the right bands, and the slacker attitude that eventually grew into Boomer Juniors… yeah, fuck em, worth forgetting.

lol you were born in the 80s. As a Gen X, I was in school in the 80s. There’s a difference but I hear you.

ACKSHUALLY, 1980 is the end of Gen X and 1981 is the beginning of millennials, the oldest of which would have been 18 in 1999.
So the oldest millennials would have been having their first birthday.
