My mom had this as a shower curtain. I’m not sure when it appeared, but it feels like it was out only curtain my whole life. You just brought me back to so many hungover mornings staring at those dang clown fish.

It’s a whole holiday vacation unto itself!

I’m pretty sure I’ve seen that as a puzzle before.
Actually looks like a pretty good (difficult) puzzle, what with how prevalent the blue is. I just did one that has a similar amount of dark purple and it was a nice challenge (paired with a rule against examining pieces and the picture at the same time, as doing that trivialized the puzzle I did before that one).

I can’t relate, for me the actual relax happens when we get home and I can rest doing my own things at home in comfort lol

This is me, too. Even if I enjoy the trip itself, “having a trip planned” but not being on the trip yet is the most stressful time of the whole ordeal, and the stress only increases the nearer to the day of the trip it gets.

for me the most stressful part is planning the trip. but that might be, because i get stuck at this part and there are no other parts, which could be more stressful :/

That’s why I prefer using a business trip with a few days extra to explore the place rather than planning something out of the blue. Less stressful and a few things are already planned by the company, you just need to extend some things and plan the few days you are on the actual trip.

I absolutely can’t relate. It rubs right up against my lazy, happy vibe. There is so much work and stress and planning surrounding it, before you even get to paying for it.

There’s an easy solution that’s kinda fun: don’t plan anything outside of a handful of major, big-ticket items that you definitely want to check out. You don’t need a bulletproof mega-itinerary. Just walk the earth, have fun, and discover things. Let the world happen to you. It’s pretty awesome if you lean into it.

And then you are in the trip and you’re noticing the absence of the joy that you expected when planning. But in retrospective, everything was fun (whether it was, or not).

Spending money on travel is the one truly blameless life expenditure.

It’s actually pretty hard to get 18,000 km away since that’s practically the opposite side of the world. Though as it happens, I could achieve this, it’s even a reasonable destination (Perth Australia)!
