Love how he was like “oh shit a random crevasse that I almost fell down and died in! Well, surely there won’t be any more”

We live in a world too full of heartless people. You matter, regardless of your accomplishments, medical status, or capacity to contribute to capitalism. I don’t know why anyone would have difficulty seeing that. Add my voice to yours when addressing your body’s wishes.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and the video above. I’ve had generally positive experiences with healthcare here in the US, and it’s tragic so many people have stories like these. I hope you’re at least getting better care than the mom in the video.
- Comment on This Minecraft map that recreates, [Kowloon Walled City], one of history's most notorious slums made me reconsider what's important in 3D level design 1 week ago:
We’re just used to it by now, but the title is phrased in a way to make you curious what the author meant by “what’s important in 3D level design”. I wouldn’t call this clickbait, but it’s definitely written in a way that intentionally omits the central conclusion.
- Comment on OMFG 1 week ago:
Basically, nobody really eats lutefisk. The old timers will do a lutefisk bake once a year, but it’s not because they actually enjoy eating it.
But I certainly know people that think garlic and cinnamon are too spicy.

Prior to bots, Reddit observed on many occasions the 90% rule:
90% of users just scrolled Of the ones remaining, 90% only voted Of the ones remaining, only 90% left comments
And finally, 90% of those left never posted - Comment on I respect choice for the name of the game 2 weeks ago:

This is wild to read in 2025. It sounds like the case against him was legitimate because the case wasn’t able to be repealed, but most people today would barely blink at a no-bid contract finance bribe. We’re living in a post-shame world.
And I only know about this man from the press conference/suicide sections of this article, but he seemed intelligent and empathetic. Even if he was guilty of bribery, it’s tragic that he took his life.

There’s literally a 1 season series called Survive The Raft in 2023 as an homage to the original experiment.

- Comment on Sliced off the tip of my thumb, what are some good one handed games? 5 weeks ago:
I enjoyed Cadence of Hyrule a lot more than Crypt of the Necrodancer for some reason. Maybe I just love the setting of Hyrule that much more. Probably just the overall polish on the game. But that’s an easy recommendation.
- Comment on Which year was the most stacked for game releases? 5 weeks ago:
Also Smash Bros Melee, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, and Luigi’s Mansion. Sonic Adventure 2: Battle too, but that was a port with added features. Gamecube lineup was STACKED that year.

Stayed in Rome and Florence for a week. The only breakfast stuff we found were indeed either sweet pastries or biscuits, accompanied by fruit and cheese.

- Comment on When was the last time you actually laughed while playing a game? 1 month ago:
Playing “RV There Yet” with friends. I’m replaying “DELTARUNE” and that game has me laughing out loud every 5 minutes (same goes for UNDERTALE). Also recently played the demo for “Yapyap” and laughed a bunch.
