I cut my tofu into tiny cubes and air fry them. I’ll add them into things like udon or stir fry, which has its own seasoning. I haven’t tried seasoning the tofu directly. But considering you’re non-vegan, you could go with chicken bullion and you’d get most of the way there. Otherwise, a healthy amount of garlic and onion powder will do you well, maybe some beer can chicken spice.

I get Beyond Burgers often, and they at least have some texture on the inside. Not exactly like hamburger, but it looks appetizing. The above image is just white paste on the inside. They could certainly do better.

Ashley voices a ton of characters for both video games and shows. Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn, Huntress Princess from Fiona and Cake, Parvotti is Outer Worlds, Mel in The Last of Us II, and Chloe in Life is Strange.

Not just the controls, but the entire game design is utterly unique. It’s a breakneck 2d racing game where you can only see about 1/4 second ahead of you (or less). You navigate jumps and turns by reading the color of the track. It becomes surprisingly intuitive. It’s such a fun game that I wish could be on NSO to see some wider popularity.

You might be able to downgrade to windows 10 and get extra security updates until October. I’ve been lazy and have continued using my old windows install using the outdated file structure, so Windows said I was ineligible to upgrade to 11 and gave it to me for free.

When the digital world is cohesive and interesting, it becomes a believable world to exist in. It requires excellent writing and good visual/sound design. Some games I’ve gotten immersed in: World of Warcraft, Skyrim, SOMA, System Shock 2, Prey, Outer Wilds, Breath of the Wild, No Man’s Sky

Game prices are set by their publisher, and prices are consistent across various platforms, regardless of market presence. So, Steam is the same price but a better service generally.

Yup, seconding this. The gameplay is simple enough for a first time gamer and they’re funny. Lego Skywalker Saga and Lego Harry Potter were a blast, and we picked up Lego Voyagers but haven’t played it yet.

Keep in mind, the Switch 2 had arguably the strongest launch sales of any console. Looks like their numbers were front loaded, and everyone already got one before the holidays

It honestly has a decent lineup. Mario Kart World, Donkey Kong Bananza, and Metroid Prime 4 are all solid. I’ve really been enjoying Hyrule Warriors Age of Imprisonment, the co-op has MUCH better performance than the first game. Plus many other Switch games just have better performance on Switch 2, like Pokémon Scarlet/Violet.

The best Thai noodles I’ve ever gotten was in some hole-in-the-wall place called Thai Kitchen 2 or something. Got my usual 4/10 spice level on some Pad See Ew and I was in physical pain the whole time, but it was goddamn delicious.
