- Comment on Abiotic Factor review - Abiotic Factor is an instant survival classic, and one of the best games I've played in years. 2 days ago:
Always keeps you on your toes. System Shock 2 also had monsters able to respawn anywhere, so you were never 100% safe.
- Comment on 13 skeletons 4 days ago:
Wish can consequence-free emulate any level 8 or lower spell. So you could get 11 worry-free skeletons, or risk never casting wish again if you need 13.

Lol glad someone else had this thought. I get that people hate reddit here but this post is inane.

Apply liberally. Bought a video game and expected a feature not common in the genre or the developer’s history? Watched a movie but had no idea what the director’s style is? Bought a smartphone and wanted features that brand has never had (or maybe the industry has moved away from)? Bought motion cameras but didn’t realize you couldn’t just watch the clips they record unless you buy their stupid cloud service…
- Comment on SAG-AFTRA approves 2025 Video Game Agreement, officially concluding its strike 2 weeks ago:
The new contract ensures “safety guardrails” around AI, which includes “consent and disclosure requirements for AI digital replica use and the ability for performers to suspend consent for the generation of new material during a strike”.
Great to see. Now we’ll see if this actually ends all of the voice actor strikes in the industry. I know there were a bunch that started due to this strike but actually hinge on the company’s stance on allowing non-union members to remain non-union.

Rofl this is what I most disagreed with as well. 3DS certainly had some bangers, but I think many would list it among the weakest first-party lineups

We’ll have to see how Beast of Reincarnation turns out. Gamefreak’s other side games weren’t anything spectacular, except for Smart Ball.

I had a bad loading/stuttering issue in games that plagued me for months. Turns out the SATA cable was loose. I had no idea those could BE loose.

We usually steam it or bake it with some olive oil, but I still boil it occasionally. I don’t have a steamer for my little pot~

I mean, I definitely boil things like broccoli or potatoes and drain the water after. Not every meal calls for soup.
- Comment on WalkScape's (RuneScape inspired fitness MMORPG) developer here, we've now released support for smartwatches on iOS & a lot of new content, and we are accepting new players to the Closed Beta! 1 month ago:
Highly recommended. It’s unintrusive and fast, and you only have to check it now and then to switch up your activity. Every time I go for a run or get groceries, I look forward to what I’ve found in game :D

Haven’t actually played these two but from what I gather, they definitely fit the list!
- Comment on What games are just objective master pieces? 1 month ago:
Prey, System Shock 2, Outer Wilds, and Undertale are fully-realized microcosms where the primary game is unfolding the complex origami of the setting. All of them absolutely beautiful to experience.

Have you played Prey? Only other game to scratch that same itch for me.
