“over a month” is a weird way to put it when the pregnancy window is a very small part of the roughly one month cycle.
The people who struggle to get pregnant usually try for a year or several years.
I know 2 different couples that tried for over a decade before they succeeded.
I know this couple that tried for 6 years went to doctors for 4, gave up hope and adopted two babies. 5 years later (15 after they first started trying), they got naturally pregnant. But wife was already 47 at the time, they didn’t think they could care for three financially. Plus the wife was mortally afraid of developing favor over the biological child over adopted. So they just aborted it.
But I always remember them fondly for trying to do right by the two babies they adopted. Strength of Hercules on that couple.
The image was very “tell me you know nothing about pregnancy without telling me”. But I appreciate the sentiment as someone that tried “over a month”
I remember walking into the bathroom at my high school once and a boy asked me from inside one of the stall “Hey, can you please use some other bathroom?” I was super non-confrontational so I just agreed and as I was leaving, a girls voice said “thanks”.
Girl was practicing her guy voice, but slipped at the end. The embarrassment haunts her to this day.
As far as i know, artificial pregnancy is more reliable method for people to get own kids, especially for people with infertility and lgbtq people.
We should get the Christian propaganda out.of.schools and teach real sex ed again
The only people consciously against it are either pedos themselves or politically inclined to want masses of young dudes enter their adult life already empoverished and kneecapped.
IVF isn’t that reliable, like 10% success rate or something. The issue is if you have unexplained infertility it’s the only option.
It’s about 48% successful on average. Individual success rates vary based on age, reason for using IVF, health and age of the mother, and the number of retrievals.
For a moderately healthy person in their early thirties, one retrieval provides about a 56% success, and three retrievals a 86% success rate.
Teenagers with raging hormones have way less health issues than someone in their late 20s or 30s.
Plastic causes all kinds of hormone issues too that cause infertility, and we use it everywhere. It’s in our food packaging, it’s in our clothes, it’s in the chairs we sit on, the mice and keyboards we use. Take a human apart and you find microplastics everywhere, even in our brains.
Look up Dr. Shanna Swan. It’s basically the one thing she does, and there’s a netflix documentary about it even.

Just google plastic infertility or some other combination of terms and see the many studies published and take your pick.
It shocks me that so many people are just blindly downvoting a comment like this. They make a very testable claim, and even cite a specific, easily searchable person, as their source. If you think the claim is unreasonable, it’s very easy to ask them for more background info or sources, preferably while pointing out why you’re sceptical.
To me, the claim that 16-20 year olds that are full to the brim of hormones, and have had less time to be exposed to various pollution than 30-somethings are more fertile seems reasonable off the bat. I have no doubt that I would have become a parent at 18 if it weren’t for contraceptives, yet I’m now closer to 30 and haven’t become a parent despite trying for a while. One side of that is that at 18 you’re more likely to be constantly pounding like bunnies, another side is that stress, pollutants, and probably a whole host of other factors make you less fertile with age.
Apparently there are already several papers linking plastic pollution to low fertility rates.
Not only plastic pollution but ultra processed diets too linked to low fertility.

Do it! Best choice you can make once you’re done having children. It doesn’t change anything of impact and the lack of stress wondering about possible pregnancies is very awesome.
Parents don’t have it easy. Personally, I’m barely keeping one step ahead of my kid as well as their mom seeking child-support.
