I thought so too originally but I ended up enjoy the co-op missions for a while. I’ve moved on since then but it’s been worthwhile for me.
Note that you can play those missions solo, but the game difficulty doesn’t adjust based on number is human players so it’s less efficient.

Unfortunately most of the game mechanics occur in multiplayer. There’s no classes or upgrades available in the campaign.

But there’s really not that much debris. Certain orbits can get packed but there’s plenty of availability. Also stuff in LEO deorbits pretty fast.

It would have to be an experimental aircraft. Someone died recently when they installed a 3D printed intake that melted on their experimental single seater.

Some games are just too massive. I don’t usually use step by step guides but I use maps heavily. It’s just not fun to waste time looking for an obscure item.
And I think games have a lot more customizable difficulty these days instead of just one level. Which is a good thing as it makes them more accessible.

Yes it’s an excellent game, I enjoyed it thoroughly and played the co-op defense for a while as well!

Sometimes I want to blow things up and get headshots. So I’ll see if there’s a Call of Duty on sale and just play the single player. It’s rare though, and at the moment my blowing things up itch is being scratched by Space Marine.

Cool! Good to know this software is out there.

It doesn’t seem like there’s a pseudorandom coding applied, so repeated patterns should show up visibly. I’ve never really examined it myself though.
- Comment on Feeling that groove 2 months ago:
Long runs of no changes is generally undesirable because it makes it harder to know where the reader is. So you’d want some type of coding to make sure you see changes occasionally regardless of where you are. For CDs, it seems like each byte is converted into 14 bits, where the longest run of zeroes is 10.
- Comment on why are fitness weights filled with sand? 2 months ago:
Note that it’s usually not fresh sand. It’s whatever the cheapest sand-like material they can get their hands on. Which is likely mining waste. Which might not be great for your health.
- Comment on Maybe there's seagulls, maybe they're just crazy 2 months ago:
We used male voices in our experiment as most wildlife crimes against gulls reported in the media are committed by men. Although we did not test this, it seems likely that gulls are more wary of men’s voices compared to women’s voices – as found in nestling jackdaws as well as in African elephants. Men are more likely to represent a threat to these animals than women or children.
I feel like it wouldn’t have been that much more effort to get female voices as well, as they were using recordings anyways. Could also help add support to the referenced paper as well.

- Comment on How are computer chips designed? 2 months ago:
When I was studying this formally they were using VHDL and Verilog which are programming languages to do circuit design.
Roughly they can take a logical description (input A goes to output B, etc), do A LOT of math and create the circuit layout.

Probably Indonesia. Went to Bali and it was underwhelming. Unlikely to have a reason to see the rest of the country. Too many other places I’d like to visit for the first time or revisit.
