hating on Israel, wich by definition is antisemitism.
It’s official, they’re trolling. No one is this stupid… Right?

What a class A moron. You can’t even respond to a single thing they say, so it’s just “mental diarrhea”. Every one of your comments is evading their points so hard, your mental gymnastics would qualify you for the Special Olympics if they didn’t have a minimum IQ requirement.

My buddy and I were just talking about this. Juggalos get a lot of shit, but my experience is that they are one of the most accepting groups around. It doesn’t matter if you’re a PhD or are stealing copper out of abandoned houses, if you show up with some clown makeup and fire poi, juggalos are down to clown.

That would certainly explain why I find shaved crotches prepubescent and weird.

I heard all the hype, so I read it. I now don’t understand the hype. It has three main elements:
Dragons
Magic School
Romance/light erotica
It doesn’t do any of those things particularly well. There’s nothing interesting or particularly original about the dragons or magic school stories. The romance is super cringe:
spoiler
the unpopular girl falls for the school’s “bad boy”. In a “shocking twist”, he falls for her too. The romance is completely shallow and goes from “I’m attracted to you but we can’t be together” to “we’re soul bonded and will be together forever” in the span of a few in-story days. Again, super cringe and hardly believable, even considering these students are all late teens to early twenties. Yes, the least believable part in a book about magical flying reptiles is the romance.

Same here and seriously. It’s not that I disagree that whatever is bothering them is bothersome, it’s usually just something I wouldn’t notice.
Like people cutting me off or speeding on the freeway. I really couldn’t care less as long as they’re not putting me directly in danger. I really just don’t notice but it drives my wife nuts. I’m just happy I’m only driving my car, not living in it.

Many modern humans are a bunch of entitled little shits and it applies across the political spectrum.
I strongly believe every person needs to experience serious adversity at some point - homelessness, joblessness, food insecurity, chronic health issues, or chronic pain. I have had most of the above (and still have some, yay chronic health issues) and that made me a better person by giving me perspective.
All the best people I know went through some shit or are empathetic enough to understand what it’s like. The worst people I know either were protected from adversity or went through an adverse situation but didn’t have the tools to properly work through it so it made them worse.

It was. I’m an eighties kid. In English class from middle through high school, we’d read literature and there were questions literally entitled “critical thinking” that would make you think critically about the excerpt.
Now it wasn’t super deep critical thinking. We weren’t asked to examine the role of race in American society, the merits and failures of capitalism, the patriarchy, or any of the really big concepts that affect society. It did attempt to teach us to critically think about new information, though.

I remember being a kid playing Morrowind and really wishing my friends could play with me.
Now I’m an adult and I don’t want to play with the kids. They have way more time to play and take my ass to the cleaners. After the umpteenth time getting tea bagged while some 13 year old goes on about fucking my mother, his voice breaking repeatedly throughout, I swore off multiplayer.
