This reminds me. If you ever think to yourself “I’ve heard a high dose of dramamine can make you trip, I’ll try that out!” - I super don’t recommend it, unless you enjoy the most paranoid and uncomfortable high of your life. You’ll feel like spiders are crawling on you and someone is watching you, you might even hallucinate a corpse or zombie!

Can I just add PCP to this list

I actually liked pcp, but I do vividly remember word got around and everyone at the hookah bar was looking at me like I was gonna start attacking people

It was mostly a very heavy, introspective experience, with a lot of energy

I feel like DPH use explains substance abuse, self harm, and addiction better than anything else. Using it once is understandable, but having the worst experience of your life and then turning around doing it again the next day is wild. I flushed the rest during my day 2 trip so I wouldn’t use them again the next day

Damn I know what you mean. It’s dangerously easy to forget how bad a trip was when you’re sober

DXM was too delirious in my opinion. Like entire moments of time just flashing in and out, like pressing the skip button on the remote. And even in the brief moments when I feel myself conscious, it’s like I don’t know who I am, where I am, what I am, what’s going on. Something just feels off and I can’t remember what. Then flashing out of existence again until another blip maybe minutes, maybe an hour later.

That was a large dose though, probably too large. I had done it previously with a more meticulously calculated dose and I vaguely remember enjoying it and not losing consciousness, although the time dilation was crazy.

That was all a long time ago now. Well over a decade.

Before that I tried Dramamine, and aside from the initial nausea I don’t remember it being too bad. Maybe just cause it was so long ago. It felt like being in that Mickey Mouse episode Through the Looking Glass. It’s the only drug I’ve done that gave me literal visual hallucinations (at least overlayed with the waking world, not like salvia), like actually seeing things that weren’t there, watching them move around and morph into different objects. It really did feel like walking around in a dream world, while being awake…

If your username is to go off of then we’re both from an older era. It’s nice to keep older memes alive.

Had a recovered benadryl addict the other day (wanna say it was for SI) who was surprised I knew about the hat man. The only reason my coworkers know is my interest in hallucinations unique to a specific hallucinogen. And then my coworkers know because I mention it when it comes up.
