Had a wholesome moment with the cleaning lady that p’s get yesterday. She’d be mid 60’s chinese. Was pulling some chillies off the tree for her and she came out really enthusiatic asking about it for 10 mins telling me all the different parts of the tree in mandarin lol.
She was trying to haggle me for how many she could have. We went from 30 to 70. I lost but I had nothing that would work against her strategy.

Seeing her light up was great. Sometimes it’s the little things.
I do think sharing produce just breaks down every barrier and yesterday reaffirmed that.
