My dog met him. Seems pretty cool.

The bright colors suggest the Easter bunny wants you to find its eggs. Perhaps similar to parasites that cause their hosts to change color or behavior to make them more likely to be eaten by another ultimate host to the parasite.
This has troubling implications.

Or maybe they are bright and colourful to distract from all the bodies.

We’re here to celebrate the anniversary of Humanity’s defeat of Christ, when we sent him recoiling back to his home dimension for all time (he threatened a speedy return but didn’t make good on it) with the Devil, played here by Will Smith, exclaiming “welcome to earf, Motherfucker.” Russell Crowe costars as a roman guard.

Distributes eggs to be consumed, meaning it is a parasite, actually.

If I wake up to this thing, it’s going in the stew.

If you wake up to this thing, you might already be in the stew yourself!
