Sounds genuinely delicious! Thank you!
Slice radishes, toss them with a little olive oil, salt, and seasoning, and air fry at 380°F for 10-12 minutes, shaking halfway

Actually is very good! And easy if you have a mandolin to slice.

It’s too hard to get the bits of radish out of the strings at the top of the fret board for me.

“…and seasoning”. I needs a bit more information.

Salt, pepper, a little bit of garlic powder. You honestly don’t need much.

Roast them like potatoes too. Roasted radishes are fantastic and not bitter or peppery at all.

Pity it’s not radish season yet, I grow loads of them, bloody love radishes.
Will have to try to remember this!

Pickled radishes are also awesome

Do they get super soft or are they still firm? When I tried putting daikon in curry it kind of turned into neutral mush, which was fine but not what I was expecting.

They are kind of crunchy on the outside and softer on the inside. Also depends on how thinly you slice them, I suppose.

ickplant@lemmy.world 3 days ago
Shitpost because radishes but wanted to provide actual value.
