  I don’t know about six months, but you’re really not supposed to wash denim frequently at all.

  I’ve seen some people go as far as to suggest putting them in the freezer as a way to kill germs instead of washer and dryer, as it’s less damaging to the material.

  I dunno about all that though.

  You’re not entirely wrong. I haven’t had therapy in a while now, but every session during 2025 was just them pretty much agreeing with me that everything is fucked (yes, including capitalism) and nothing I was saying was at all irrational.

  I eventually realized that it got to a point where there just wasn’t anything they could tell me and I didn’t need to spend money to have someone tell me that my fears and anxieties are justified every few weeks

  As I said in another comment, it taught me that my father apparently only cared about the aesthetics of being a hippie, but there was never any deeper political ideology or understanding underpinning it.

  I imagine this was the case for a lot of ex-hippies.

  But it has taught me that my dad cared more about the aesthetics of the hippie culture, but never actually stood for any real ideology. Just shallow bullshit like music and fashion.

  I suspect this is probably the case for a lot of ex-hippies.

  If you didn’t play Pokemon as a kid, you shouldn’t waste your time. They’re games for babies. You’re only going to like it as an adult if you’ve got nostalgia.

  There are way better monster collecting games that aren’t made for kids in kindergarten if that’s what you’re looking for. The Shin Megami Tensei series has some amazing monster design.

  Have you played EU V yet? It’s been a few months since I’ve picked it up, but I was hooked for a little while.

  They somehow made the game simultaneously more complicated and more accessible. Also more fun imo.

  I was also enjoying Victoria 3 quite a bit. I have to be in the right mood though, and just haven’t been feeling Paradox Grand Strategy games recently.

  It starts slow and gets more fun as you get more abilities. By the time you get them all and you’re flying around the room, and using telekinesis to throw debris at enemies, it gets pretty fun. The setting is great too imo
