      I completely agree. That being said, it could be pretty easily argued that they want to save on server costs or something about model training accuracy on your watch history degrading due to you not deciding what to watch

  If anyone runs into this popup, make sure your uBlock Origin is up-to-date, and that you don’t have any other adblock extensions installed (disable the one in Enhancer for YouTube as well). Then, make sure you clear your filter lists’ cache in uBlock, and update them. This should allow you to block the popup. If it comes back again after a few days, repeat.

  If they can figure out how to enable the camera on my cameraless pc, that’s just impressive.

  I don’t even use a proper monitor I use a 6 year old budget tv screen. I see no camera lens on that thing.
