I was doubting if this is ai or not but I honestly think the image is too deviated from the norm that it must be not genai.
e.g. the table is coated with carpet (cat tower kinda thing), wipes box on the table
there’s also a reflection of the cat in the spoon which is an amount of detail that feels like something genai would not put in

Restricting search results to reddit is a nice way to filter out corporate junk and just get honest end user opinion on things. As much as I hate the management of the platform now, you have to remember that Reddit didn’t always used to be shit. Aaron Swartz was a co-founder.

Unfortunately that’s not how orbital mechanics works :(
If the moon had instantaneously more speed than the earth can hold onto (e.g. more centrifugal ‘force’ than balanced by the gravitational force), the moon will accelerate up, until the forces become balanced. This makes a elliptical orbit, like this:
I think the only way the moon could be getting further away is if the earth was losing mass or the moon was gaining energy somehow
