  This is not even the most bizarre.

  Remoraid -> Octillery is the most bizarre shit that cannot even be explain by mythology. The vaguest shit that can explain this line is the gun to cannon and you really need to force a lot to see Remoraid as a gun.

    Maybe they’re like starfish, which grow from bilaterally symmetrical larvae into many-limbed adults? Image Note how the adult starfish body starts out like an organ in the larva and then grows as the rest of the larva is absorbed.

    I agree you with on those, it’s pretty wacky. You should see the beta designs if you haven’t already, it makes it a lot clearer:

    beta remoraid, more clearly inspired by a revolver

    beta octillery, more clearly resembling a tank

    I thought the same about bitterfree and venomoth. Just look at them. The eyes, “mouth” and everything just looks switched. But apparently, like gyarados and dragonite, they weren’t actually switched either.
