Looking at the post on cycling that was shared recently, we always get bad faith outsiders with the most bullshit takes jumping into the comments section. But if you told them to shut up and fuck off, you’d be the bad guy

I used to take the high road, but stopped caring.

Haha! He’s gone on a packing spree and now I don’t have the right paper to do his anniversary card tomorrow.

I didn’t finish hauling down the pantry donations a month ago because I was too exhausted… did that. Managed to get a $2 pair of jeans and some art books. I think that’s going to be the level of spending for a while.

Sketchy randoms came cutting through my block right after I left it and there were already a couple alcohol cans littered on the path before that… eugh.

Moobeans is on the bed curled up in a croissant, I hope she starts feeling better quickly.

It was so funny when the vets came. She actually came over to them in curiosity and rubbed her cheek on their stuff. She wasn’t so pleased when having her blood pressure taken, I had to steadily feed her distraction treats to get her to tolerate it.

    Fretting.

    Cat health

The only treats I currently know Melbcat can have and likes (as well as being affordable-ish and not a hassle to get) have sugar and salt. I started her on blood pressure medication last night and will get her on stuff to help protect her kidneys when that medication comes in next week, but these can’t be good for her. I might look around again for some other options rather than restrict or deny her treats. I’m worried about her high protein dry food as well. I haven’t found many foods she’s not allergic to and the high protein grain free stuff is the only thing that works, but it is going to be harder on her body and hasten her kidney disease. Prescription foods all contain stuff she can’t eat. I’ve ordered in another bag of her current biscuits but am wishing I could find something else that was lower in protein (and she would still happily eat). There is the option of finding a lower quality kibble that would contain less meat, but even if I found one that didn’t contain chicken (near impossible) it would still probably contain grain fillers like corn that would aggravate her IBD. Maybe I could find biscuits with potatoes as a filler and hopefully with a lower amount of meat. She adores potatoes.

    Nightmare neighbours, tree law

I may also be creating fresh hell for myself ie. bringing a long term nightmare neighbour down on my head again by reporting some invasive trees. However what looks like some kind of laurel is planted with the trunk a literal inch from my foundation, and a root is now sending out suckers to expand and grow a new tree. The other has the trunk a foot away from the foundation and is a plane tree, meaning invasive roots that can cause concrete to buckle. I’ve been dealing with the nuisance of the branches overhanging and dropping leaves in my yard (and the roots sucking my soil dry) because the person who planted them lives for disagreements that will give them an excuse to engage in harassment campaigns and get violent. This means that it isn’t safe or wise to go through the normal channels that require engaging with the person or trimming overhang. But yeah, if there’s a risk that the trees might damage the structure of the place I’m living in I obviously don’t want that to happen. And since the owner of the trees may be liable for any property damage caused I want it on record that I am not the owner and am not responsible. The council is a bit iffy on if they can help but have at least asked for photos. I’ve also reported to housing because they take property damage seriously and might be more likely to act. I’m taking my life in my hands tbh. But at least if there are any issues with damage down the track there can be a paper trail that makes it harder to blame me and demand I pay.

I’ve had to use my browser to post images as Jerboa wouldn’t let me for some reason.

I wonder if the voice activated speakers can record people talking and potentially be used as evidence in court.

My speakers have heard some incriminating stuff.

There’s a podcast I listened to a while back with nonsensical court hearings, maybe that’s the video version?

Or they have lots of nonsensical court stuff

Either way, I will look into those videos.
