Australia Day Public Holiday.
Going to be a high temperature one.
Lovely rando day despite the heat.
I downed a pint of lemon lime bitters. This weather….
Slept like a baby thanks to all my walking yesterday. Downside: ow.
Also I missed a spot on my cheeks and got sunburnt. Ow.
Still awake -_-
I’ve been filling the water quickly at night so out to confirm the water is topped up for the scorcher and notice that the heavy little dish weighing down the foil pan is gone…
Go back on the tape and some extremely odd acting guy has come inside the property line, stolen it out of the disposable pan, dropped it in the dirt and kicked it along… then picked it up again and taken off with it.
What the actual fuck man
Let me just open this pack of ready to eat curry and add some baked chicken to it. Oh too much chili oil I need to remove some. Only two pieces of potato? Gotta boil one. No veggies! Let me boil some green peas.
Ready To Eat. 3 lies for the price of one.
Sky smoky.
Bread is in the oven. 🌞
dundaaaaa
My back hurts… and I managed to wrench my hip and knee -_-
Time to find some trash to watch on youtube

A giant old fashioned ice cream Monday for me, please Chef.
Can I get a bra and G-string made out of that ice pack material used for sprains etv
❄️👙❄️
A giant sized old fashioned ice cream sunday, please
So the brachiosaurus right at the start of the Jurassic World exhibition scared the boys, but they were fine with the raptor and the scary part with the T.rex at the end. I think they were surprised to see dinosaurs to start with and then got into it
That’s the coolest thing 😊
and it’s good to be a bit scared of the natural world, I think that feeling of danger in everyday life is something that modern humans has lost
Saw a shriveled male and female flower pair… pulled the male one open and tried to open up the female to hand pollinate - the female flower came off in my hand. DOH. If that flower didn’t already get fertilised the little zucchini will wither and die.
No flowers on the others. I wonder how much the heat and probably too small pots are stressing these plants.
The heat and the public holiday got me, slept all day. Gonna do what I need to do and try the old sleep tablet quarter again tonight. I need to be up for phone calls and telehealth tomorrow. -_-
I was gonna get onto the folding today but not sure if I have the energy.
not too hot in the apartment today but hot outside, even so, I’ve done some housework and am baking a loaf of chili cheese bread
I watched American Primeval again and it’s a brutal unforgiving show, much like what real life on the frontier was like
audience reaction has been interesting, so many people, men, dislike the main female lead , they are even angry at her
and now I see it’s because they blame her for the male lead getting killed
people are strange
Has Colesworth stopped selling the banana lollies?
I’ve seen them at aldi.
Thanks, might have to stock up when I get a chance
anyone know of a place that delivers bulka bags of landscaping supplies in melbs? Lots in NSW, doesn’t seem to be a vic thing, frustratingly.
Bulleen Art and Garden used to (not bags, but will deliver with a truck. You buy how many sq m you need, they scoop it from bulk area and deliver it to you). Not sure if they still do it, haven’t been there in a while.
I definitely used it back in 2019, I hope they still do now as it was one of their big selling points. Had a whole heap delivered to sharehouse driveway and carted it to the back to engage in extensive planting. (Man, those were the days when I used to do so much more…)
Nah, can get a truck easily, it’s specifically the bags we’re after.
I think Bunnings co-ordinates (???) delivery of 1m square bags of stuff. From an outside supplier I think. Certainly mulch, but might do other stuff too. Is that the sort of fing you are thinking of?

Hmm even though it says 24 it feels warmer than that outside but quite a bit.
