    Honestly, after hearing and seeing all the leaks, I started to tune them out until there was something official. This has been a nice little official confirmation.

  So relieved its backwards compatible with physical carts. That was my major concern as a physical game collector

  I think it’s really interesting that the trailer seems to confirm one of the more wild leaks - that the joycons will have optical sensors that allow them to be used as a computer mouse. It would be really interesting if Metroid Prime 4 shipped with mouse support. Also, this would be pretty notable if the rumors of the Master Chief collection releasing on Switch 2 are confirmed.

  Looks like everything I want from Switch 2. The only question left for me is, is it OLED or is there an OLED version coming this year?

    From the grapevine it sounds like it’s not OLED. Which trucks with Nintendo knowing the real Nintendo pervs will buy 3+ consoles over the lifetime.

      I guess I’m not a real fan. I couldn’t justify re-purchasing a console that spends 80% of it’s life docked to a nice 4k OLED. If they release an OLED switch 2 within the first year I’ll hold off and get that, but I’m not going to purchase 2 switches just because they can’t get their shit together.

  If a Nintendo is going to release it after the switch experience tour the release will probably be after June. Last event date is in June in Seoul.
