I only dissociate with one co-worker who tells long stories. Something like, “I saw a clown at the grocery store” turns into,
“Yesterday, I drove to the grocery store with my cat in the car because he needs pills. When we got to the store I was grabbing bread for sandwiches. I want to save money making food at home so I make sure to get bread that has a lot of grain. When picking out toppings in the dairy section I saw a clown that knows where Malaysia Flight 370 is. He was next to the American cheese but I prefer Swiss”.

Yeah the new user Lemmy experience is brutal. Splitting communities across 6 different instances that post 2-3 times a week is disheartening. Even if there was a huge influx of users smaller instances/communities would be unable to host all that activity.

I imagine game studios are out of ideas so they are pitching, “AI NPC’s” to investors. This would also save money on voice acting and writing. If Rockstar’s GTA VI does bad then I’m counting that as the final nail in the AAA coffin.

It also released a Naughty Pack of more mature games though considering most players like to make the basic games rude, it’s unclear how popular these have been.
The Naughty pack was disappointing. 3 okay games for $20. 2 of them were games we’ve seen before. For $30 you could grab Party Pack 7 which is infinitely better.
