Feels so muggy, yucky!
Nothing a beer and some left over pizza can’t fix mate 🍻🍺🍕
Beer is basically liquid bread, so why not have it for brekky? 🍺
Funnily enough because i chose to eat the massive meat roll and almost made myself sick again from eating it, I still have that 2nd pizza!
No beer though sadly.
Just a lonely bottle of pink moscato
I’m just grateful it’s not hot and muggy!
It was a little warm here. I caved and turned on the cooler but I think I’m going to run the dehumidifier mode now and see if that changes anything
Good morning. I’m off to the market. Please communicate any requests
A rose and an apple tree please.
Breakfast please. A bacon and egg roll would be great.

I wonder if there’s a vegan equivalent to salami? The best part of salami is the spices they put in it so surely there could be a plant based equivalent to the filling part
I think it is also the fat which has absorbed the spices and spreads that flavour through the dish. You could probably infuse an oil with the spices and use that in a lot of dishes, but if you are trying to get something to eat like a stick of salami it would be tricky to get that sort of texture etc.
Probably one thing that would help there is animal fat goes solid whereas plant oils usually stay liquid. Maybe something like tofu could absorb all the flavours

I’ll need to check this out. I think the boys might like it as well
Ahh… I’ve noticed Melbcat’s fur looking a bit spiky with a few greasy spots on her lower back. It’s hard for her to groom there because of a long back and bending with arthritis but I think the increased oil is from the vitamin b deficiency.
The mega doses orally from the fortified nutritional yeast and the monthly vet shots don’t seem to be enough then. I’m going to have to harden up and give her the extra shots at home.
It’s also spring so she’ll be shedding. For now I’ve already been twiddling my fingers through her fur and brushing out any little mats, and am combing through anywhere that looks grubby or spiky. Getting out any loose hair that could tangle.
She’s happy and healthy for her age and still living a good life. Just needs extra vitamins because of her gut and help to brush the awkward spots.
Check with the vet first. Even at the end, Punkin didn’t need more than his monthly shot.
I was told by the vet because of her gut malabsorption (ibd) she would need shots weekly, I just have a thing about needles and was also afraid of accidentally hurting her.
Feeling bad as I don’t think feeding her the fortified stuff is getting more of it absorbed… guess I have to
The plastic bottle irrigation isn’t working as intended. Leaving the caps off means the water all just runs through fast rather than being a reserve the plant to sip from. Of course. The opening is too large for capillary action, there is too much air pressing the water down and out the holes.
If putting the cap on quickly after filling doesn’t fix the problem I may remove them and replace with terracotta pots.
I don’t want to have to… at least I’m doing all the initial mistakes on the zucchini plants which are quite tough
My mum got that working and it sounds like the problem is too many holes.
I think all it takes is one toothpick sized hole and you control the flow with how tight you screw on the cap.
Ahh ty

You should check out Tiger Beats Elephant Grooves on PBS FM on Monday evenings (back catalogue available online) - I’d been really sleeping on Indian music until I heard some of the sick beats on that show
