Drinking pinor noir and watching the live action Cinderella from a few years back- some of the scenes are so beautifully shot. Itâs the kind of movie that makes me want to believe in true love and obnoxiously huge dresses.

I have recently discovered wine in a box, and it may be super daggy but itâs very convenient.

Back in the 70s, a bloke named Len Evans was a notable wine expert. Consulted all over the world for his fine palate yada yada. A snobby USA reporter asked him what he kept in his cellar - expecting a list of fine vintages. Len (bless him!) replied 'Oh I donât keep a cellar - all the cardboard boxes went soggy".
Seriously, our cask wine just outperforms all other countries on the cheap but good standard. Do not, I beg you, drink cheap wine in France. Itâs called vin du table because itâs made from real tables. Of the chipboard variety.underwatermagpies@aussie.zone â¨4⊠â¨months⊠ago
I believe cask wine was invented (the cask part) in SA, so itâd make sense weâre quite good at it!
I donât really want the pressure to drink the whole bottle in a few days. Sometimes thatâs easy, sometimes I go ages without a drink. 4 litres on tap, thatâs cold whenever you want, is super convenient.

That got a really good Friday chuckle out of me. Never stop, o Witch of Thornburg!

Fruity lexia or Coolabah?
underwatermagpies@aussie.zone â¨4⊠â¨months⊠ago
Pinot Grigio, but itâs on the fruitier end of tgat spectrum. Goes all right with my gourmet dinner of hummus and savoys.

Iâm not sure if I want to put just to buy snacks today.
I know Iâll have to go out and buy new shoes and socks and a milk frother from kmart but Iâve felt like Iâve left it a little late.
underwatermagpies@aussie.zone â¨4⊠â¨months⊠ago
Itâs the last day of school holidays and the weatherâs bad, Iâd avoid shopping centres if you can.
Duenan@aussie.zone â¨4⊠â¨months⊠ago
Too late. Iâm already there and parking was a nightmare.
Pretty crowded as well with kids here.
