      I thought it meant she was working in a Starbucks or another coffee shop / diner that sells a lot of coffee. Roastie as in Roasted coffee beans.

  Maybe a waitress managing her workload with lightly roasting the customers. With an experienced roastie that’s actually funny and entertaining.

  One of my favourite restaurants closed down over Covid. It had an awesome roastie from Berlin. I actually celebrated my wedding there. I miss him.
