  Honestly I know this is unpopular but Pansexuality was a cash-grab. They just rereleased Bisexuality with a new marketing campaign.

  I’ve been working on the open source LGBTQ+ality since they added the + back in 2012 and never looked back. It’s a bit more maintenance, but I’ve always been a so it yourselfer.

    I remember applying for jobs in 2015 that were asking for 5+years experience with LGBTQ+ality for an entry level position! Fucking bonkers.

        So much easier to just use PyLGBTQ if you don’t need the performance.

        GoLGBT looks interesting, but it lacks queer support.

        There’s this thing called LGBTR, if you want the speed of LGBTQ++ with the modern features of LGBTQ#. Let’s hope its lead developer isn’t a dead beat community manager, who will inevitably destroy it through mismanagement and embracing AI after he manages to make some slop images for his presentations.

  Everybody most certainly did not switch over! They hard forked it and sure some people moved to the new fork because they liked the maintainers more and it has the community they vibe with, but a lot of people stayed with the old one and are still using it. The trademark stayed with the original fork, which means the new fork had to develop a new flag which not everyone in the community is stoked about…

  There’s a couple side-forks with small communities, like Omni, but most people consider them pretty niche.

  Only because terfs stole the bi label, and now not many people use pan either, since terfs claim pansexual means “will fuck children, dogs, and the kitchen sink”

    Don’t listen to TERFs, many claim to be “politically lesbian”, but instead they’re just the MGTOW of women, and also (quite ironically) lesbophobic.
