It’s November.
Not even the beginning of Advent yet, let alone anywhere near time to put up decorations 😂

Nah, that’s only like a third of earth’s population, why should they matter?

November 30 was the first advent Sunday this year. But yeah, my family decorates the tree on christmas day.

My family tradition was putting up the Christmas decorations on Black Friday or at least the following Saturday. 🤷♂️

I am so old that I remember that in my country (middle Europe) the proper day to dress the Christmas tree was Christmas Eve. I remember this as something truly special (though I’m an atheist now). But then, capitalism arrived in its full, and now we have Christmas trees since the beginning of November.

We usually put up Christmas decorations and listen to Christmas music starting November 12 where I live.

Uh…. (should someone tell them? In the USA they’ve been up since before Halloween 🎃)

… Unfortunately. We should be the greatest bulwark against this garbage Christmas creep. Maybe it doesn’t have to be Dec 1, but we should be holding fast until Thanksgiving at minimum and the rest of the world doesn’t even have that holiday to utilize.
But we must of course spread endless
capitalismcheer.
