The problem is that 4chan is too degenerate and reddit is too, well… reddit. Unfortunately Lemmy is far from perfect as well.
Lemmy is more liberal than left, that’s my problem with it. You will get hate for saying very reasonable opinions just because it goes against certain narratives. Better yet, just spit straight facts and you will still get hate, like this: economic class matters more than race for nearly all aspects of life, and a considerable number of race-exclusive factors would also be solved by eliminating poverty and reducing overall inequality.

Lemmy is just the right amount of degenerate.
I disagree, on one hand people are really easily offended and on the other you have blatant open pedophilia among the anime communities and people calling for physical violence. It might be “just right” if you agree with the majoriry of people here. If your views are more moderate and nuanced, not so much. Context and intent does not seem to matter here.

Well, physical violence against fascists is always justified. First they will come for the radicals, then they will come for the moderates, then they will come for the rest, and there’ll be nobody left.
The only good fascist is a dead one. That is the standard view. If that doesn’t suit you, you’re free to go elsewhere.
