I disagree. Of course it’s a PR stunt
If you disagree, then why do you call it a stunt?

I’ve been boycotting CS2 (née CSGO) since November 2019 when they introduced Fortnite skins with annoying voices that you couldn’t turn off or disable.
I don’t think it has worked but I’m definitely never playing another Valve multiplayer game, they always turn out the same way.

there’s nothing inherently wrong with fucking a woman
Yet it isn’t an insult for some reason, I wonder why?

“There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.”
― Isaac Asimov, 1980

oedipal
and funny how your mind goes straight to homophobia or misogyny, when there are other interpretations for cocksucker
oh you’re trolling, good day
- Comment on The consequences (of my actions) have been extreme 2 months ago:
Exactly, pussyfucker isn’t an insult because traditionally there was nothing wrong with fucking pussy, but calling someone a cocksucker is implying they’re either gay or a woman
- Comment on The consequences (of my actions) have been extreme 2 months ago:
Okay but like, in regular penis-in-vagina sex, the man is (theoretically) giving pleasure to the woman while also doing all the work. Is that still power play? Is pussyfucker the same as cocksucker?
- Comment on The consequences (of my actions) have been extreme 2 months ago:
Paradox of tolerance demands nothing, it is a concept that suggests some level of intolerance is required to protect overall tolerance. I don’t think it even applies here since those guys weren’t being intolerant, just despicable among themselves.
Methinks you picked that up as a buzzword to indicate and justify any time you think intolerance is called for, which is unnecessary in this case because they’re just being vile assholes that you can choose to scorn.
- Comment on The consequences (of my actions) have been extreme 2 months ago:
That’s still degrading to fellators.
And idk if I’d say it’s a power thing, cocksuckers are the active participant in a blow job, and I’d say the submissive one is the one with their meat between a pair of teeth.

Sharing private chats from your girlfriend? Yeah, that’s too far.
Whoa whoa whoa, but they said they didn’t commit crimes by sharing nudes without consent! They’re not that disrespectful!

I don’t think it is that people are saying shitposting is a higher form of humor, but that it requires a level of trust that you know the people you’re shitposting with know you and know you’re joking. Lack of that leads to your second quote.

I would not say equally bad, citizens are at least theoretically able to influence their government in a democratic system; you have no hope of influencing the ESRB or MPAA or CCA

Government regulations are better than companies deciding what’s allowed.

I saw it when I was rather young but I thought it was pretty good, apparently people thought it’s edgy.
That’s me, I’m people. Same as you, I remember watching it when I was young and thinking it was a cool mature thriller, but I rewatched it last year for the first time and I was honestly a little shocked at how edgy it seems. Like the first 30 minutes really hammer how much trauma Evan went through, and it just felt really heavy handed.
