We knew he was in bad health when he announced his retirement 5 months back due to being house ridden with emphysema but I didn’t think this day would come so quickly. 😭 RIP to one of the GOATs

Or when you do, they talk about it negatively like “ouchie it was too big.” Sometimes ppl do prefer a girthier hog though.

Looks like Facit calculators were originally manufactured in Sweden and then later Japan. No mention of that particular model on this website, however
- Comment on SteamOS expands beyond Steam Deck 1 week ago:
I’ve been running pop_OS! on my Razer Blade for a few years with no issues. They install Nvidia drivers by default and also have power profiles that support hybrid graphics out of the box.
On my desktop gaming PC (with an API and NVIDIA 10-series GPU), I’ve tried EndeavorOS and Garuda but I haven’t been able to get waking up from sleep to work on either, it crashes my graphical session everytime

Back ~2010/11 I used to go to McD’s once a week with friends after practice. I’d order a McChicken, a mcdouble, and a medium fry and pay with just random loose change from my car. Thanks for confirming this for me with this infographic, these are the prices I remember paying.

it looks like Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut which is just about the most expensive thermal paste you can get and I don’t think you can get it in bulk

So they fall into a water-logged end portal (negating the fall damage) but why do they immediately teleport back to the overworld instead of onto the end platform? Mods?
- Comment on Most iPhone owners see little to no value in Apple Intelligence so far 4 weeks ago:
So far Apple Intelligence can help with writing, making pictures/emojis, and summarizing notifications, websites, emails, Messages, etc. I just don’t see a need for AI to do any of those tasks though. The picture one maybe

If memory serves, in the movie she only breaks his ankles with a sledgehammer instead of cutting off his foot (feet?).

I have not had much luck with dating apps, so a friend and I attended a local speed dating event when we turned 30. Apparently it was advertised on a dating app and is run by a company that does events for singles.
Anyway it was exactly like you described - a series of awkward interviews with strangers I didn’t click with, some of whom tuned out after a couple of minutes and you could tell they were just waiting for the next person. Many were people who had just moved to the state/country.
Any other option for meeting people would probably be better than attending a speed dating event imo
- Comment on Assassin's Creed Shadows Will Feature Denuvo & Account Linking + EULA also requires you to allow Ubisoft to "monitor" your RAM 1 month ago:
Shadows’ EULA also includes a provision that allows the game to monitor your PC’s RAM to ensure you’re not running any unauthorized programs like macros, cheats, or hacks, a well-intentioned clause that nonetheless feels a touch out of place in a single-player game
Why the fuck would I allow Ubisoft to monitor my RAM while playing a SINGLE-PLAYER GAME. They just want to datamine my PC or something?

- Comment on Rumors of Sony Acquiring FromSoft’s Parent Company - GAMESCENSOR 1 month ago:
This could be bad news indeed. Sony has at least been releasing their exclusive titles on PC recently, so even if they go through with the acquisition we might still get future FromSoft games on PC (hopefully) but the tidbit about their anime and manga holdings is also troubling.
