So far Apple Intelligence can help with writing, making pictures/emojis, and summarizing notifications, websites, emails, Messages, etc. I just don’t see a need for AI to do any of those tasks though. The picture one maybe

If memory serves, in the movie she only breaks his ankles with a sledgehammer instead of cutting off his foot (feet?).

I have not had much luck with dating apps, so a friend and I attended a local speed dating event when we turned 30. Apparently it was advertised on a dating app and is run by a company that does events for singles.
Anyway it was exactly like you described - a series of awkward interviews with strangers I didn’t click with, some of whom tuned out after a couple of minutes and you could tell they were just waiting for the next person. Many were people who had just moved to the state/country.
Any other option for meeting people would probably be better than attending a speed dating event imo
- Comment on Assassin's Creed Shadows Will Feature Denuvo & Account Linking + EULA also requires you to allow Ubisoft to "monitor" your RAM 3 weeks ago:
Shadows’ EULA also includes a provision that allows the game to monitor your PC’s RAM to ensure you’re not running any unauthorized programs like macros, cheats, or hacks, a well-intentioned clause that nonetheless feels a touch out of place in a single-player game
Why the fuck would I allow Ubisoft to monitor my RAM while playing a SINGLE-PLAYER GAME. They just want to datamine my PC or something?

- Comment on Rumors of Sony Acquiring FromSoft’s Parent Company - GAMESCENSOR 4 weeks ago:
This could be bad news indeed. Sony has at least been releasing their exclusive titles on PC recently, so even if they go through with the acquisition we might still get future FromSoft games on PC (hopefully) but the tidbit about their anime and manga holdings is also troubling.

Yeah that film was weird I liked aspects of it but overall thought it was too weird
- Comment on [Même] Which movie was this for you? 1 month ago:
Yep this is the downside of being a discerning film lover with a friend group that watches movies together. I had this experience recently when we saw Longlegs (2024) in theaters. One friend LOVED it (he has notoriously bad taste), two friends thought it was decent, and I thought it was mediocre.
- Comment on [Même] Which movie was this for you? 1 month ago:
Agreed. It came across as preachy instead of entertaining, but it seemed like it was trying really hard to be entertaining.
