I just want you to know that your comment wasn’t blatantly disrespected at least by this internet stranger.
It’s a thoughtful reply to some asshat that was asking you questions in bad faith, he was not open to a different point of view from the outset.
And also that’s pretty awesome stance to take. I wish more folks were this mature about their relationships

I know it’s not the answer to your question, but you should really consider getting a bidet installed to not piss off your hemorrhoids.
Speaking from someone who also has them and who got a bidet during covid. Life changing for my cinnamon ring.

I mean yeah that’s true.
But on reddit reposts were everywhere and it was very common for bots to karma farm by doing so, so calling it out had a purpose.

My first instinct was to call this a repost as I remember seeing this like 4 years ago on reddit but this is a different platform altogether.

“Evidence of evolution
The extreme detour of the recurrent laryngeal nerves, about 4.6 metres (15 ft) in the case of giraffes,[32]: 74–75 is cited as evidence of evolution, as opposed to intelligent design. The nerve’s route would have been direct in the fish-like ancestors of modern tetrapods, traveling from the brain, past the heart, to the gills (as it does in modern fish). Over the course of evolution, as the neck extended and the heart became lower in the body, the laryngeal nerve remained in its original course.”
I think this is what he was getting at

Back in the big union days, this was called “work to rule”, as in you worked exactly to the letter of your job and not an inch more.
Supposedly it was a union tactic to fight back if the company wasn’t playing fair or wasn’t playing ball at the negotiating table

Man you have no idea how annoying it is to dredge up enough effort to post comments and shit. Take it from me, a former 100% lurker on reddit

If I gotta breathe in smoke from a fire I’d prefer it be that sourdough fire.
But yeah it’s pretty bad here lately. This situation must have something to do with the tropical storm remnants, think it’s blocking in all of the smoke from blowing east

Ignorance appears to be like rabies in at least one way, once it rots enough of your brain you become fearful of anything and everything around you.
