If it wasn’t for “piracy” (volunteers lovingly preserving and modding their games and consoles and sharing their work for free) most people would’ve left and forgotten about Nintendo years ago. Their products would have been remembered just like those old, abandoned songs you never hear on any streaming service anymore, then sometimes think about and never bother to find because “it’s so X0’s” anyway. Most of these companies owe modders and “pirates” the fact that they’re so happily earning so much in this golden era of remasters and remakes.

Three consecutive replies because of an app I’m testing. Sorry about that.

You’re also describing what happens on Windows. Gaming on PC requires some tinkering and knowledge. If you want to turn a machine on, install a game and play it you’ll buy a gaming console.
Regarding Mumble, Zerotier and XLink Kai, sorry to read that. Hopefully there’ll be something in their docs that help you or other alternatives you can switch to. Deep Rock Galactic can be a bit of a resource hog, but there’s probably a solution for that too. Jurassic Park’s T-Rex also used CGI. This video explains a little. www.youtube.com/watch?v=l4UuQxjFpfU Good CGI is wonderful as are good practical effects. A great team working together from the start so results look believable is key. Bad CGI often comes from not preparing scenes ahead of time to include it.

This is always great news! Cancer treatment is getting better every year but there’s still a long way to go. Here’s hoping he never has to go through it again. 💪
