Sure

When I was that age I cried inconsolably over a bluegill I caught that swallowed the hook. Imagining the pain I caused it when they cut the line and threw it back was a lot for me and the adults around me thought it was hilarious that I cared. People trying to defend this by saying kids don’t have empathy or understand what they’re doing are full of shit. If that kid doesn’t have empathy it’s not because he’s 11 it’s because there’s something very wrong with him.

East and West are already interchangeable with Dennis in my house so why not
- Comment on What a feeling that was 9 months ago:
We forget about it because it wasn’t remotely helpful at the time if you got a bored version

- Comment on How Tom Polce and Kay Hanley Took Star Trek To Broadway, And Beyond 1 year ago:
Is Star Trek really being Star Trek if they only stick a predictable script and don’t do something wacky every now and then? It WAS Star Trek being Star Trek.
- Comment on I could totally do that if I wanted... 1 year ago:
My hobby is starting new hobbies not getting good at them 😔
- Comment on So wholsum 🙏🙏🙏 1 year ago:
That’s just a whole lot of confirmation bias speaking. Most people are gonna hesitate when they encounter totally new things that’s not unique to people from any type of place.

Hold on let me Google it…
Sorry, just seven pages of ads about vacuums because I bought one six months ago and links that all go to the same regurgitated article that only vaguely mentions it 🙃
- Comment on Did anybody watch TOS for the first time AFTER Strange New Worlds? 1 year ago:
I watched them all as a kid with my mom and we watched all the movies in theaters. Other than the movies I’ve never had the urge to go back and watch except for the very occasional nostalgia for a specific scene in an episode. I’ll always have love in my heart for TOS but it is very much a product of its time and I can’t blame anyone for struggling to get into it now. Best recommendation is to watch it with an old school trek fan because their reactions and excitement can amp up the experience a lot. Gotta be a fan that doesn’t take it too seriously because you also need the freedom to laugh at how silly some of it is when it’s not trying to be
- Comment on Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Sales Breakdown - with PC making up a whopping 68% of units sold 1 year ago:
Nah, I don’t ever replay games so I use gamefly. Something I can’t do with PC. Guarantee I’ve spent significantly less on games and played just as many as you if not more lol. You don’t own games on Steam etc anyway so I decided not to pay owner prices for what’s technically a rental anymore. I’ll just actually rent it for a fraction of the price.
Frankly, this is some tribal high school bullshit. “Gamers” like you are a detriment to gaming as a whole and make the rest of the PC community look like stuck up jerks.

We grew up watching people getting cut in half in movies while mom covered our eyes if a nipple appeared lol
- Comment on Shirley you cant be serious! 1 year ago:
That’s really reaching hard to try and make this valid. We have real examples of businesses taking advantage there’s plenty to worry about without making up more

This would be noticed and called out the literal second two people go together and have different devices. We don’t all just travel in packs according to our iOS lol

I kinda like them. Anyone that’s worked in a restaurant doesn’t want to touch physical menus anyway lol

I still wear mine. I’ll probably always wear it when I’m sick in the future. Never realized how easy it was not to be nasty and spread illnesses around
- Comment on Windows Updated and is Pushing More Stuff 1 year ago:
Right? The top comments being people commenting just to laugh at the guy using windows on a work computer is grossing me out. They’re like the loud vegans for computers. Just like veganism I agree with a lot of it but the fan base (for lack of a better term atm sorry) is SO aggressively off-putting lol

- Comment on "Sponsored recommendations": I pay for Spotify Premium, and yet somehow I'm still the product? 1 year ago:
Or even worse you’ll get more. It applies to everything too. I got a vacuum a while ago and Amazon keeps recommending more. Who tf is out there buying multiple vacuums? Why does Amazon think that someone who spent $50 on a shop vac is now in the market for a $700 Dyson? For stealing so much of our data they sure are shit at advertising
- Comment on "Sponsored recommendations": I pay for Spotify Premium, and yet somehow I'm still the product? 1 year ago:
I stopped using Spotify when I paid for premium a few years ago And they kept interrupting me to remind me that I was listening ad-free lol
- Comment on Noooooo you can't make a microtransactions free game and finished too 😭😭😭 1 year ago:
I dunno the part where they try to make themselves out to be some kind of hero over racism randomly because they didn’t play a game has gotta decrease the score by at least a couple

- Comment on Almost all remote-work news is negative now but was positive in the beginning of the pandemic. Have you noticed this or am I going crazy? 1 year ago:
One of my sups from my old job was recently complaining that people weren’t required to come in more than two days a week and pushing to increase it because the office is lonely without them. She and people like her are the absolute worst. Main character syndrome doesn’t even begin to describe them and I wish nothing but the worst for them in life tbh
- Comment on pugs are a cruel human creation 1 year ago:
Or the hairless ones. They can’t even sunbathe or groom themselves and that’s like a cat’s favorite thing to do. Cats also love to be warm and some idiotic sweater isn’t a replacement for the fur they’re supposed to have. “But I’m allergic” tf kind of selfish argument is that? You feel so entitled to a pet that you have one made for you to the detriment of the animal? It’s seriously so gross.
