Also assume that just because you are tolerant to one (Eh Mexican, Thai, Korean, Indian, etc) does NOT mean you are tolerant to the others.
Most people think they can, then cry like babies when they’re tested; myself included. I can nearly drink Tapatio and Sriracha Cock Sauce, but Indian Guntur curries for example send me crying.

- Comment on How come not all people are organ donors? It's not like they will need them where ever they go. 5 weeks ago:
That’s definitely not true. some things will disqualify you sure but even things like HIV are fine because it’s considered something that can be managed with meds.
Then you must bot live in the USA and have country requirements are different than the USA:
quote: ‘Very few medical conditions permanently disqualify someone from donating. The short list includes active, spreading cancer and certain infectious diseases: HIV/AIDS (with an important exception discussed below), active hepatitis B or C, active tuberculosis, MRSA infections, and prion diseases like Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease. These conditions pose a direct transmission risk to the recipient that can’t be managed.’

Some people such as myself can neither be blood nor organ donors because their bodies are undesirable.
Examples: Cancer, Leukemia, HIV, TB, Leiden V Factor, etc.
People with such issues are often incompatible donors.

- Comment on Google Has Decided My U.S. Spectrum IP Address is in Mexico 2 months ago:
It’s dependent on your IP Address. So, if you login to Netflix with a device that registers a public IP in the EEUU, you get US content until that login on that device times out and requires you to login again.
So, take your laptop to the states and logon to netflix, it’ll stay EEUU bound for as long as that session is allowed, regardless of whether you return to MX again.
- Comment on Google Has Decided My U.S. Spectrum IP Address is in Mexico 2 months ago:
This happened to me and it was insanely annoying because so much content is ‘blocked in your country’.
The fix is easy though, just logout of netflix from all devices and log back in.
- Comment on Reddit is finally entirely dead to me 3 months ago:
Welcome to the dark side for good and yes, it is better… overall. I’ve been on Lemmy now since the first mass exodus when I deleted my reddit account of 15+ years.
While Lemmy is now my ‘home’, I do occasionally visit 3 reddit subs that have no equivalent elsewhere. It just happens and I see nothing wrong with the occasional view. It’s not like /u/Spez can monitize my VPN anonymous visit. So don’t feel bad if you end up doing the same, Lemmy just doesn’t have the same volume.

Ah yes, Matrox’s last bastion of business: ridiculous monitor counts across 2 or 3 Matrox C680 cards.
It’s even more ridiculous when you use 15 x 85" OLED TVs for some company doing a C&C room.
