I’m still not sure if I want to get a Switch 2 over this as much as I love OoT (and the Zelda version of the Switch looks really nice). But the Link and Zelda amiibo statues are so cute, I might grab those just to put on my shelf.

Wow I really got gaslit by Hyrule Warriors and Smash Bros Sheik, because I thought the braid was always there lol.

Child Link looks exactly like the mini cherub statues my grandma used to have, and I really like that in the context of what he has to go through in OoT/MM and what we know of the Zelda timeline. Adult Link looks good though, I’m really happy they kept his and Zelda’s noses like the OG instead of giving them button noses.

This is good to know, I might try it out then! I think I’ve watched streamers play it in higher difficulties so it looked brutal.

I’ve always wanted to play Project Zomboid so bad but none of my friends are into it and it looks like it’d be rough solo.

Are you going to be putting this on itch.io as well? I actually already have it wishlisted on Steam, but would buy it on itch.io if you got to keep more of the revenue.

I’m so torn on headlines like this: on one hand, people should be angry and disgusted, vocally so. But on the other… like this is exactly the reaction they want.
The whole Trump social media team and administration are such chronically online 4chan losers that trolling is all they do, and people tend to fill up online chatter about these attention whore stunts instead of the ongoing ICE raids, the foreign interests buying up American assets, and the AI companies paying people to spread manufactured consent amongst local communities regarding approvals of data centers and surveillance tech.
The Harris campaign might have stopped calling them losers, but I never will.

I might have more hope for KH4 if the anime is good.

I must admit that I enjoy fighting with the people who call me mean names in the review comments.
I always reply “Can’t please everyone” and nothing else, and for some reason that triggers them way more 🤔 Had a guy write THREE different replies within a week to a review I left of Escape from Tarkov without me saying anything…it was so weird.

What a blast from the past, holy shit. I remember the goon recruitment posts on SomethingAwful.
- Comment on Age at which People make "Stupid Mistakes" for before the Age of Internet, and after Widespread Adaption of Internet 1 week ago:
It’s because many adults today can’t hit the traditional milestones of “maturity” after higher education. No job promotions, no money, no house, no children because no money or house. There is really a sociological stunting of maturity going on that has nothing to do with the internet (not directly at least).

Japan…please…stop…I beg you. I feel as overworked as the devs working for you.

Again, I don’t disagree with you regarding Steam sometimes getting way too gassed up by gamers, and not having any incentive to change because of it. That’s because the bar is so fucking low for the industry as a whole.
But I wouldn’t call it “rent seeking”. They make deals with publishers to have games come to PC instead of being locked into console exclusives, they are making consumer friendly hardware, they are pushing the Linux gaming sphere, and they have actual customer service for their storefront. All of this should be standard in the gaming sphere, but because it isn’t, Valve and Gabe are seen as gods.

While Steam isn’t “doing nothing”, I do think 30% cut of sales for the first $10M is a lot especially for indie and single developers that will never reach this target, and the larger/more known the publisher the easier it will be for them to hit the lesser % of sales tiers (reduced to 20% after $50M, but I can’t remember the in-between tiers atm).
Itch.io, by comparison, takes 10% of sales as a default, but publishers can set it to whatever. People should really get their indies off of there if possible.

Man I just realize my comment sounds like an ad, oops. But I was so frustrated with the state of “mobile gaming” in the last decade where my options are “touchscreen, cellular brick”, “underpowered, colourful heavy brick” or “powerful, heavy monochrome brick” that “light, foldable, powerful, colourful brick” really seems refreshing to me 😭
- Comment on The AYN Thor Lite Has Become Something Much Bigger Than AYN Built 3 weeks ago:
I love my Thor! I’ve used it more than my Steam Deck over the past year because it’s more portable and I can play my Steam games on it. The DS really was my favourite form factor from all the gaming devices I own, anyone that’s the same should look into this.

I feel that for just a few dollars more (a lot more dollars now) I could have bypassed this inconvenience.
Ain’t this the truth. “Do I buy this thing I sort of need right now when it’s a BIT overpriced, or wait until it gets REALLY overpriced” is the modern dilemma consumers are facing across the board, it seems.

While I agree with you wrt consoles locking people in, my parents are hobby console collectors and that got passed down to me. I buy whatever comes out and sell as needed. But is it getting less fun to collect with the current gen, I’m not gonna lie. Games don’t even come on discs anymore, so a physical collection is starting to become useless.
For anyone curious: I don’t scalp/resell btw, MSRP + shipping as needed, this is a hobby not a side hustle for me.
