Current as in today? Or then-current (pre-exodus)?
- Comment on Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare coming to PC October 29 5 weeks ago:
For the first time in its storied legacy, John Marston’s beloved journey can be experienced on PC in stunning, new detail, with both Red Dead Redemption and its iconic zombie-horror companion story, Undead Nightmare, arriving to PC on October 29.
In collaboration with Double Eleven, this new version adds PC-specific enhancements including native 4K resolution at up to 144hz on compatible hardware, monitor support for both Ultrawide (21:9) and Super Ultrawide (32:9), HDR10 support, and full keyboard and mouse functionality.
There’s also support for NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 upscaling technologies, NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation, adjustable draw distances, shadow quality settings, and more.
Check out the new trailer above and stay tuned for more details, including information later this week on how to pre-purchase Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare at the Rockstar Store, Steam, or the Epic Games Store.
- Comment on [Tom Warren] The PS5 Pro still hasn’t sold out in the US or UK. Looks like the $700 price point will mean this console will be readily available this holiday 1 month ago:
Well I’m a consumer and I can guarantee you that i can tell when a game is running at 30 vs 60 fps.
Still not buying a Pro though.

Are you suggesting that aid be stopped completely because we can’t guarantee that none of it is being used for military purposes?

Many worse publications than Kotaku.

Thanks! I’ve never fully grasped the concept and this really helps.
I’ve always heard it that observing was actually “measuring” and still wasn’t sure why that would impact anything but chalked it up to the quantum world being other-worldly.

You’re not good at this.

Nor is Shattered Space, Starfield’s DLC.

I agree that it’s a little weird but it’s no more weird than professional sports.

Final Fantasy don’t often go on sale. Though I hope you’re right!
- Comment on Valve released Windows drivers for Steam Deck OLED but no official support 2 months ago:
I was attempting to provide clarification between what they mean between the difference of “Official Support” and something like effective support.
Clearly this a step towards them more officially supporting Windows, but it stops short of “Official Support”.
- Comment on Valve released Windows drivers for Steam Deck OLED but no official support 2 months ago:
Valve’s support team isn’t going to assist with troubleshooting a borked Windows installation, so no.
- Comment on How is Lemmy better than Reddit? 2 months ago:
Agreed. Lots of reasonable opinions (not just my own) get downvoted here.
I’ve never been a fan of using downvotes as a disagree button and the issue seems even worse here than Reddit.

Did you hear about Technology Connection’s beef with xQc?
- Comment on Why are people downvoting the MediaBiasFactChecker not? 3 months ago:
You should use a client that supports all of the text formatting. On Voyager the bot’s comment is smaller than most when collapsed (which it is by default).

Not sure why you’re being downvoted. I honestly wish I couldn’t detect stutters.

Star Trek references, for those confused like I was.

Just use Papyrus all the time, as I’m sure /u/paddirn would agree.
- Comment on Funny bad games reviews 4 months ago:
Not in the style of Civvie and not always pure comedy but Action Button reviews are the best video game review videos I’ve ever seen. I’d recommend his Doom review, it’s only four hours long.
Be aware, his videos are not to everyone’s taste.

Canada is 70% white and the US is 60% white. What’s your point?
- Comment on Top post in the conservative subreddit: Being unable to work at a "woke" company 4 months ago:
Considering they employ 200,000 people, I’d say quite a lot.

If you were expecting any of that from From, you were setting yourself up for disappointment.
- Comment on Trump’s Second Term: Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (HBO) 4 months ago:
The trifecta that included the slimmest of majorities in the House, the literal minority in the Senate and the non-existent mandate that Biden came in with?
Don’t forget that the effective tie in the Senate was comprised of both Manchin and Sinema who are the very definition of DINOs.
In short: no such trifecta existed.

Besides the low resolution, those don’t look like Switch graphics to me.

People have such nostalgia boners for Morrowind. Warranted or not, it’s still annoying.
