You could even get a full refund for your purchase. I did with 100s of hours and the original purchase being years ago.

Difference is that vibe coding doesn’t create 20% more CPU usage or 30% more RAM usage because it doesn’t understand the underlying mechanics (or, it could but that is not the important part). LLMs will happily provide you with solutions that consists of plain text password storage, leaking personal information through open APIs, and business crushing vulnerabilities. A sharp developer should ve able to catch that, but if you’re reviewing 5000+ line PRs daily that’s been spat out by LLMs it’ll be impossible to catch all failures. And for someone who doesn’t know all those nonfunctional requirements that a business absolutely must have it’ll become a nightmare for the receiver of the code.
So to be clear: For functional requirements LLMs are a bit better but still needs hand holding. For nonfunctional requirements they’re dog shit as that’s the part that more often has to explicitly be mentioned. And being able to identify nonfunctional requirements and when they’re not met is the difference between a junior dev and a 10+ year lead.

Christians haven’t exactly been saints either. Let’s not forget the thirty year war, the European wars of religion, or the crusades just to name a few.

In Denmark all the gas stations started to panic during the last gas shortage because the signs only went up to 19.99, so they had to replace them with ones that could show 20 (DKK 20 = €2.67 = $3.07). We’re just about up there again.

I got a nice Tissot, outside watch enthusiasts it’s only been women commenting on it. Tbf I love the watch and it’s the favourite part of my outfit, so maybe the confidence of wearing it attracts and the watch is merely a “replaceable” conversation starter.

The thing about language is probably the stupidest hill to die on. If you’re a small European indie dev, chance is you know somewhere between 2-5 European languages shared among the devs (maybe even a few more). It’ll be free to join forces and create the translations for some of those. Voice acting can also be quality-tested in-house if your game includes that. But if you need to add Chinese you’d often need to hire external QA. I wouldn’t get mad either if a Japanese, Korean, or Chinese game didn’t support anything from the western hemisphere besides English. I’m not even mad that the amount of games that support my native tongue is likely less that 1%. If they didn’t even support English? That’s fine too. That game isn’t targeted me anyway, and I would leave it alone. I don’t go review bomb Fortnite either because it’s not for me.

Welcome to the club. I was also a competitive swimmer and I don’t remember a moment where I wasn’t eating or swimming. Even stealth eating during class. But I could not breach 70kg. Covid got me just above 70 so now I am right in the middle of the normal BMI range.
My swim trainer though. He stopped swimming but I think he forgot to stop chronically eating. He was probably above 150kg, so it could go either way.

As far as I know, Cloudflare doesn’t use reCaptcha. I think they use a version of hCaptcha running on their own workers.

I think it will be much less pronounced. The negative effects of plastic in the body are relatively unknown, but IMO I think it will mostly pose as neurodevelopmental-like symptoms which won’t be able to compare with either lead or asbestos.
And the environmental consequences? The majority just doesn’t worry about that.
It definitely won’t be as bad as asbestos where inhaling just a single fiber can cause cancer. Lead, maybe, but lead is still widely used. Just not in normal fuel. We still use it in some aviation fuel though.

That works well for sales spam. I usually use “this is an emergency on-call number” instead. Technically it was half-true, it went to the same dual-sim phone.
But for the robo scam calls. Well, they just don’t care.

I am applying to jobs currently. I am basically forced to answer every unknown call I get. And it seems like there’s a hundredfold increase in spam calls this year compared to last year.

In Denmark it is a very humid heat. It is quite usual to hit 95%-100% since the entire country is within 50km of the coasts and summer rain is a given. A dry month in Denmark is ~70% on average
- Comment on Don't forget the hoodie too. 2 months ago:
It is officially a heatwave in Denmark if we hit 25C three days in a row. So, uh, as a rugged Scandinavian I’d like to object. 30C is not mild.
