Way to answer the question for me.
But to answer your question - that a fringe ideology would so quickly become a required one. That an ideological system would so quickly sweep and change the culture. And that those opposed would be handled so rudely.
I had always participated believing that it was about acceptance. Only to find that it was mostly full of the same people who treated homosexuals poorly looking for their new acceptable punching bag.

I was when I stood in the middle of city and realized I thing that I had stood up for over 30 years had been achieved. And that it had wholly transformed in the process and become something else. It surprised me, and bummed me out that I was wrong. And that it was not the good thing I once thought it was.

The leadership of US medical of the last 25 years should be prosecuted, have their wealth taken from them, and their kin removed with them on a biblical scale.
The removal method? Guillotine

I get what you are trying to say. But this kind of low tier leftism is what makes people tired of us. They’re not the same thing, and you are sad for trying to conflate the two.

My unpopular opinion? If you stand in the middle of a big city during Pride you get an idea of what Nazi Germany was like with the swastika flags.
Source I experienced this in the middle of Chicago a few years ago.

The current state of the Democrats will not listen to that.

Also note that this is not a D vs R situation. It is the people vs those who keep taking advantage of the leadership we afford them.

Yes - it is Trump alone. Not Obama and the Dems forward. It isn’t their consolidated power where they rule together and seek to put us against one another.
Bernie gets the great position of never having to be responsible. And I say that having voted for him and who he has said to repeatedly.

1 - I too am addicted to corn, I was exposed to it at too young an age. 2 - had a cousin die in a hopper long ago. Big family, but was still rough for everyone.

The awkward realization as your genitals are pointed at your face that you aren’t going to be able to make it. And you have to decide if you are going to keep trying or you are going to stop.

You daily a fiero? Do you do the oil changes yourself? Which engine do you have? And did you or any previous owners change the gear ratios?
I love the fiero’s of people who know what they are doing with them. If I win the lottery I would get one and have it converted to electric.

- Comment on Return to office propaganda floating around LinkedIn 4 weeks ago:
I mostly agree. Optimally I think being mostly in office while having flexibility as needed is best. Honestly - working vacations should be more normal. Example, during corona I would a couple of times a year spend close to a month in other cities working and then having fun on my time. I am thankful to have a good tech job that I could pull that off. But travel to another place for a period of time and work remote in a place you can explore.
