I think we have a very different opinion on what runs fine. I wouldn’t be PC gaming on eight year old hardware. My PS5 and Series X are five years old and I don’t much like how they run modern games.
I’m sure your setup is fine for you but ZCOM has obvious performance issues represented by the Steam user reviews. Ignoring that isn’t truthful.

The US military industrial complex is a prison. People sign up for it for social service benefits that first world countries get given to them as a human right.

There go my hopes of a post launch performance patch.
The game runs like arse even on a 9070XT.

It’s the only thing I like about Reddit better than Lemmy. The people on here are so dramatic. At least the bots on Reddit have the ethos turned down.

I’ve only played KoToR 1 & 2 to completion once each. Childhood favorites on the original Xbox. I’ve since collected the strategy guides for them though!
I’ll go back and replay them at some point.

Thank you for this trivia! Such a cool car!
The coolest car I ever owned was an 81 VW Rabbit with a naturally aspirated diesel paired with a four speed manual. Was a dream of a vehicle and only broke down on me once.
I’ll always miss driving a cool retro car but I can’t justify it with my wife’s safety now a concern.

Prelude is a sick car. Always fond of them and CRXs. 90s Honda/Nissan,Toyota were something else man.
RIP couch level comfort.

Please give it another chance! It’s one of my favorite games of all time. I’m not a fan of scary games outside of resident evil.

I’ve always thought the Apple V Google or Xbox V PlayStation thing was pretty pathetic.
Always just makes me think of the South Park with console wars.

Yes another Nintendo hit piece that nobody who actually plays NS2 gives a shit about.
If I’m playing with friends, I’m in discord on PC and console.
If I’m playing NS2 it’s almost always alone.
A I’m playing NS2 with friends, it’s on the couch at their house.

It’s one of my all-time favorites. Excellent color palette! I need to come back and play this one now that I actually have a GPU that can do RTX without having to use frame gen.

I’ve bought and played them all. Presequel and BL4 are wasted money in my eyes.
After 4, I’ll never buy one again. I am a huge BL3 fan and 4 was just a soulless cash grab.

Also the RE series is widely popular on Steam. We play almost everything Capcom makes and it’s always on PC.

I’d rather have the ability to pickup an extra shift when times are tough. I have my friends that are on a strict 40 hour week and when the check doesn’t cut it they are fucked. OT has allowed me a lot of luxuries I otherwise would have had to scrimp and save for.
Meanwhile most people are fucked if their car breaks down. I just pick up an extra shift and the problem goes away.

Yup two years ago I worked just over 3500 hours. I basically lived at work to help put my wife through college and hold down the fort.
It was very difficult but worth it.
- Comment on Anon is 23 5 weeks ago:
Trade work is admirable work. Never downplay fields that allow overtime. My best salary years are in an industry that allows unlimited OT.

My group of buddies always say that if gaming hadn’t become so wildly popular a revolution started by young men would have happened already.
The US is really good at placating the masses with media. Stay distracted, stay oppressed.
- Comment on What’s a reasonable tip for a barber? (America) 5 weeks ago:
The real fix is that nobody shows up to do the job that doesn’t get paid by the employer or tipped by the customer. Force the worker to do something else and suddenly wages increase due to worker scarcity.
Garbage truck drivers don’t make good money out of the kindness of Waste Management’s heart. Nobody wants to do that job so the price for the employee goes up.
Americans are just too stupid to realize that when a customer doesn’t tip, it’s not the customers fault the employee isn’t getting paid. I wish the country would wake up already.
- Comment on What’s a reasonable tip for a barber? (America) 5 weeks ago:
Nobody gets offended by tips here because if you’re working for tips you are poor.
It’s pretty awful that all of the service people make shit wage, but if they’d just band together and unionize things would get better. Assholes in corporate America can’t show up without a good haircut. Barbers should strike for a month and see what that does to their wages.

It’s the same thing we see with Star Wars. It was a nerdy thing a guy made and the world loved it. Now it’s a corporate market research driven machine that lacks a soul.

Loved that game as a kid, and still have my OG copy.
It wasn’t until going back and playing as an adult that I recognized Timothy Omundson as the lead VA. Loved him in Psych and in Supernatural. Apparently he voiced various characters is KoTOR 2 and I desperately need to replay that as an adult.
