- Comment on Miyamoto: Games based on developers’ personal interests resonate around the world, not those aiming for global appeal | VGC 3 days ago:
It’s the same thing we see with Star Wars. It was a nerdy thing a guy made and the world loved it. Now it’s a corporate market research driven machine that lacks a soul.
- Comment on Xbox Backward Compatibility on PC 3 days ago:
Haven’t ever used it yet but it comes with Emudeck. My emulation backlog is a mile long so maybe someday will get to OG Xbox lol
- Comment on Drop OSS - an open-source, self-hosted alternative to platforms like Steam and Epic. 3 days ago:
Good, fuck em.
- Comment on Xbox Backward Compatibility on PC 4 days ago:
Loved that game as a kid, and still have my OG copy.
It wasn’t until going back and playing as an adult that I recognized Timothy Omundson as the lead VA. Loved him in Psych and in Supernatural. Apparently he voiced various characters is KoTOR 2 and I desperately need to replay that as an adult.
- Comment on The Great Steam Deck Crash of 2026: How The New Pricing Slashed Demand by 80% 5 days ago:
My only regret was not getting the white special edition one, but my OLED is fantastic. Especially with the Satisfye grip. Endless comfort playing slay the spire and Pokemon ROMs.
- Comment on Valve says there's no end in sight to the memory crisis, and prices are only going to increase: 'Honestly, it's still getting worse' 6 days ago:
I am in the same boat. I have 28TB of storage, but I am sad I didn’t buy more. I will be hoping that these drives hold on until the prices return to semi-normal.
I stayed on AM4 and DDR4. I have been getting the absolute most out of that socket. Same B450 motherboard and swapped out my 3600 for a 5800x3D when prices were dirt cheap for that chip. I won’t upgrade until it dies or I can’t run the games I want anymore.

I’m convinced that conservatives wake up in the morning and just choose something to be mad at. Green MnM losing her high heels, gas stoves, Starbucks, avocado toast, etc.
- Comment on Valve says there's no end in sight to the memory crisis, and prices are only going to increase: 'Honestly, it's still getting worse' 1 week ago:
Glad I stocked up on all my gaming hardware before all these price increases. I don’t see the need to upgrade anything for quite some time. If the hobby stays expensive in 5-7 years I’ll likely just downsize to a single ecosystem instead of having them all.
- Comment on Two ICE agents in plain clothes punched and tried to handcuff an Australian man at Las Vegas Airport. When they saw they were being filmed, they quickly left. 1 week ago:
Yeah talk about a bootlicker. This is the equivalent of a Walmart greeter telling me to back up from a situation like this.
- Comment on Day 732 of posting a Daily Screenshot from the games I've been playing 1 week ago:
This is my problem with almost all 7th-generation games. They are largely muddy, brown, and dark. I almost never go back and play 3d games from this era.
- Comment on Marvel’s Wolverine - Ain’t No Hero Trailer | PS5 Games 1 week ago:
Yeah I could see that. The gameplay is definitely dated.
- Comment on Marvel’s Wolverine - Ain’t No Hero Trailer | PS5 Games 1 week ago:
I am a huge Wolverine fan and loved the Spider-Man games. I don’t really want to give Sony my money for this game, and I don’t feel the same draw to play it as I did for Spider-Man.
Not sure why but I don’t really care about it as much as I thought I would.
- Comment on Should I buy a Switch 2 despite owning an OLED? 1 week ago:
I have my OLED switch and bought a NW2 for Pokopia, Winds/Waves, TOTK upgrade, and DK.
Nintendo makes the best AAA games and if they aren’t out now they will be. OoT is out this fall and that alone is worth the purchase.
My OLED will be a backup for the future. Great little device and who knows maybe it’ll be jailbroken someday like my 3DS.

Sit at home on my Japanese toilet with a heated seat, stand everywhere else. Heated toilet seat is blissful.
- Comment on Why in America is .08 the legal limit for drunk driving? How come it's not an even 0.10? Who decided at what level being drunk starts? Then 4 beers of 12oz's is 0.08 why is it that small? 2 weeks ago:
There are zero health benefits from alcohol that outweigh the drawbacks. As someone in medical, your comment is outdated misinformation people use to rationalize their drinking.
I like whiskey but I am not under the guise that it is anyway helpful to my body.
- Comment on Bethesda Union Workers To Protest Mass Layoffs Next Week 2 weeks ago:
Unions need to strike. It’s the only way to stop the massive layoffs that are hitting the other studios MS owns.
Stop all work immediately and strike. They are likely to lose their jobs anyways so what’s the point.
- Comment on Palworld v1.0 - Official Release Changelog 2 weeks ago:
Had no idea those games were related. Makes more interested to follow Pocketpair’s publishing endeavors.
- Comment on As Xbox and PlayStation flounder, Steam is reportedly having another record year 2 weeks ago:
Funny to see articles like this after the wave of steam machine bad press. If you visit console based subreddits there are so many bagging in Steam.
Meanwhile you’ll never own a PlayStation disc again after next year. Great contribution to the industry Sony!

That’s a name I haven’t thought about in a long time
- Comment on A Modern Setup Guide for the PSP-2000 (Jailbreak, Plugins, and More) 2 weeks ago:
My Steam deck is my go to emulation machine outside of ds/3ds. I still prefer to use my modded new 3dsXL for that. It’s been a long time since I broke that thing out though. More of a collectible at this point.
- Comment on A Modern Setup Guide for the PSP-2000 (Jailbreak, Plugins, and More) 2 weeks ago:
I have an old modded PSP 2000 from 15 years ago. Haven’t used it in ages but I have fond memories of emulating old pokemon games on it. Might boot up Pokemon Unbound to see how it looks.
- Comment on Xbox wanted 77M Game Pass subscribers by 2026 — today it has less than half that 2 weeks ago:
Every streamer does the rug pull. I remember when my family was so shocked at the $5.99 ad free Disney+ sub. They fully believed that it was going to remain the best streaming deal forever. I mean this is Disney we’re talking about.
- Comment on Resetting XBOX - Compulsion Games and Double Fine to go indie again, Ninja Theory and Undead Labs "to join new ownership" 2 weeks ago:
Not much left to boycott. Just don’t subscribe to Gamepass and that cuts off their only actual revenue stream left lmao.

That power up rewards card was more powerful than we all thought I guess.
- Comment on Data from the 2023 Insomniac leak showed that most first party Playstation games sold more physical discs than digital copies 3 weeks ago:
I may just have to part with it then. I’m guessing it’ll sell fast ahead of GTA6. It’s weird but it is probably my least favorite console I’ve ever owned. The only meaningful exclusive I’ve played was Astro Bot. As a huge platformer kid, that brought me back to my PS1 days.
- Comment on Data from the 2023 Insomniac leak showed that most first party Playstation games sold more physical discs than digital copies 3 weeks ago:
I’m likely going to sell my PS5. I don’t want to support Sony at all. Hoping to get what I paid for it now that hardware prices are through the roof. It’ll be sad to part with the Atomic Purple Dark Plates, but my PS5 collects dust.
- Comment on Physical disc production ending in January 2028 for new games releasing on PlayStation consoles 3 weeks ago:
It really is an end of an era. I won’t buy an all digital console. I already have a PC for that and it plays everything better in 4k. Nintendo is truly the last console maker with great first party, physical media, and console gimmicks that interest me.
- Comment on 12 years later, The Binding of Isaac Rebirth hits new steam peak player count 3 weeks ago:
This is the reason I returned it a couple years ago. Hard pass on the humor. Was worse when I saw how old the guy who made it was. Just felt cringe.
- Comment on Baldur's Gate 2's co-lead designer was asked to make Baldur's Gate 4 after Larian declined: 'Having to compete against Baldur's Gate 3? That would be insanity' 3 weeks ago:
This is hilarious. I doubt Microsoft buys anymore IP at this point. Seems like they are failing hard but who knows they make the craziest decisions.
Either way it’ll end in layoffs.
- Comment on #StopPayingGames 4 weeks ago:
I don’t worry about kobo, but I can’t find everything on there. Since Dungeon Crawler Carl is only on Amazon it seems like he has a publishing deal with them or something. It just sucks I can’t actually buy to own those books without getting physical copies.
