I don’t believe the PS5 is capable of 60 fps + the amazing graphics from that trailer. I’d love to be proven wrong, but I’m skeptical after Cyberpunk 2077.
If it’s anything like all the other PS5 games, there will be a good looking 30 fps mode and a muddy variable resolution 60 fps mode.

This is not a Cyberpunk 2077 situation, where the game was problematic on last gen (besides the bugs, but we talk about performance in this context). Its like the game was ported to Xbox One and Playstation 4, that was the situation of Cyberpunk. But that’s not the case here. Also we talk about Rockstar who showed lot of gameplay footage running on the Playstation 5. Look how their last game Red Dead Redemption 2 run on last generation even and look great.
I doubt the game will run at 60 fps on base PS5. But even if they managed to do it with lower graphics settings, I wouldn’t call it “shit graphics”. You forget that some games lowest quality settings look often better than most normal games. You can’t judge that by settings alone. And its not like Rockstar never made a GTA game before.

I’ll believe it when I see it. I also don’t play games less than 60 fps because it’s not 2011. The only exceptions are handheld games where isn’t not nearly as noticeable.

Rockstar has a history of showing exactly in gameplay trailers to what the game becomes when it releases. Look at the gameplay footage. It’s not 60 fps, it looks like 30. I do not expect in base PS5 a 60 fps mode, I don’t even know if the PS5 Pro will be able to do that. Even without RayTracing and lowering the settings (the game would still look amazing), the real bottleneck would be the CPU due to the complex world. I wouldn’t expect 60 fps on base PS5 at all.
