  The joke is on you, the username is publicly visible (so you don’t need to ask) and Lemmy automatically censors your password if you try to post it in plain text. This is actually bothersome if it’s a dictionary word, for example my password is ******** but everytime I try to write a sentence with it, like “I love it when you ******** me”, it gets posted with *s like I love it when you ******** me 😩

  If you look into pyramid building theories, you’ll see that is rather difficult to lift such heavy stones at such heights at such a speed. It’s likely they even used river-based hydraulic force. I’d say quite advanced compared to what else we see from 4k years ago. There’s many great resources and this topic (and many bogus ones), but for simplicity, I’ll link to Wikipedia here.

  That’s a serious issue! But you can work around it using asynchronous communication: you may not see her/him/them anymore, and only communicate using letters. Send them a letter using the US Postal Service, and by the time of arrives, age will have inevitably closed the age gap.

  note: this is not US centric advice, using the US postal service will add sufficient delay from/to anywhere in the world.
