If you’re talking about ransomware (?), they are actually famous for great customer service and not stealing your credit card details. If people don’t trust them, noone will pay. So they offer live chats with real humans to help you set up a bitcoin wallet etc., to ensure smooth processing.
The business has developed further though, not if you don’t pay they often threaten to release the data on the web.

Clues by Sam. It runs on a website, do no installation necessary. Perfect for a quick round on the commute.

Still feels crazy though how aware your forced to be about ads lurking in every corner. I check many of these boxes plus some others, use independent OSs, 3rd party apps etc. And still, although I hardly see any ads, they are so present just lurking under the surface.
Good example are sponsor comments in yt videos/podcasts. Some I can filter out with Sponsorblock, but the little video glitch reminds you every time that you have to stay safe. Podcast ads can easily be slipped with the fast forward button, but if you’re washing the dishes etc., sometimes you can’t react directly.
It’s really insane how ads are just everywhere these days.

I think this is both easy on the sense that there are a lot of feasible options, and difficult in the sense of selecting the most suitable one for you. English alone opens up many places to you. But besides language, culture is a major factor. I remember a story about immigrants in Finland feeling excluded and had difficulties building social relationships. But in Finland, even the locals don’t have so many local friends. So, the way of life is just not suitable to many.
Other than that, try to see this not only as a negative thing, but also as an opportunity. Don’t just ask where you would do okay, but include questions like where you would feel comfortable.
Final thought: often the “most popular option” is not necessarily the best. In Europe, many countries that are not Germany or France are nice, sometimes the QoL is even higher. So, consider Austria besides Germany, for example.

I had to write the school regulations a few times.
One time, I wrote one in advance on a boring day and when the teacher told me to write it, I could just have it to him directly. He made me write another one. Still felt powerful in that moment and would recommend

I think if you’re creative, you can come up with a similar CV for yourself.
I, for one:
- have won a mini golf tournament at age 12
- received an award for my achievements in school
- wrote and recorded several songs
(Don’t ask for details please but these are all true, technically)
With the right parents added, I would have also achieved:
- buy a luxury house

You’re implying here that the poor bosses have to hire men for some reason beyond their control, while they would really like to hire women instead.
The one data point that would support that it’s applicant ratios as I already mentioned. We don’t have that afaict.

- Comment on dyk 1 month ago:
The premise was that there is a preference to hire women over men. The fact is that 66% of the workforce is male. Where is the preference?
We have no information about applicant ratios which would be helpful. So the conservative estimate is 50:50 until we know more. But in any case, the current data give us no indication for a preference for women that was claimed in this post.

- Comment on How do you feel about a 25 year old dating a 46 year old? 1 month ago:
Two friends of mine are in a similar age difference range. One of the happiest couples I know. She is the younger one and a very beautiful person, but it’s not a sugar daddy relationship (they both have basically the same job). I think she also initiated this and is even more deeply into it than him.
Hope that helps
