- Comment on How come assassinations went away for the most part? Why send a bunch of god fearing young kids into a battle the upper class started or wanted when clipping one leader would stop it? 1 week ago:
In the end, all you do is make them a martyr and propel us faster into war.
I think the lesson they learned from the martyrs they created in the 60s (King, the Kennedys) is that it’s much easier and just as effective to assassinate character. And it’s mostly legal.
- Comment on Why do "assassins" or whatever always have a Copy of Catcher in The Rye on them or with them? I read the book and nothing about taking out people, well prolly catholics but that is it? 1 week ago:

"The best-known event associated with The Catcher in the Rye is arguably Mark David Chapman’s murder of John Lennon in 1980.[14] Chapman identified with the novel’s narrator to the extent that he wanted to change his name to Holden Caulfield. On the night he shot Lennon, Chapman was found with a copy of the book in which he had written “This is my statement” and signed Holden’s name.[15] Later, he read a passage from the novel to address the court during his sentencing.[16] Daniel Stashower speculated that Chapman had wanted Lennon’s innocence to be preserved by death, inspired by Holden’s wish to preserve children’s innocence despite Holden’s later realization that children should be left alone.[16]
"After John Hinckley Jr.'s assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan in 1981, police found The Catcher in the Rye in his hotel room.[17] Hinckley’s possession of the novel was later dismissed as an influence, as a half dozen various other types of books were also discovered in his possession.
“Robert John Bardo, who murdered Rebecca Schaeffer, was carrying the book when he visited Schaeffer’s apartment in Hollywood on July 18, 1989 and murdered her.”
Two carried it, one had it back in his hotel room.

Or vanity. “I’m gonna need y’all to show up once a week to tell me how awesome I am”

They’re crunchier, more like puffed Cheetos; and crunchier still from the buttery sugar coating. And they’re salty. And addictive as fuck.
I didn’t know about the Trumpie associations, and that’s sad, 'cause they have one hell of a beef jerky selection.

Keep on telling yourself that. You guys have been wrapping yourselves in tissue-thin tales of cope ever since you realized that Trump’s campaign promise to release the files was BS. The endless parade of lies blowing up in your faces lately would be a bit sad if it wasn’t so richly deserved.

Woody Allen in the photo montage is a big red flag.
Not at the time, though. None of that widely known 'til he and Farrow split in 1992, when she found out about Soon-Yi.

Joe Biden and Merrick Garland didn’t just protect Trump from prosecution over the coup, they protected him from prosecution over THIS.
The Epstein files were sealed under court order for the duration of the Biden admin, because they were evidence in the Ghislaine Maxwell trial and its subsequent appeals. Merrick Garland couldn’t touch them.

Maxwell was indicted on July 20th, 2020, with 5 months left in Trump I. The Epstein files were not released until Jan 30th 2026, 9 days into Trump II, and Congress had to pass a fucking law to get Trump &Co. to do what he campaigned on doing.
