There were and still are.
You, as an individual, right now, have a limit on how much money you can donate to a political campaign.
An organization is able to bypass that by spending that money directly in support of the campaign, but not directly giving it to them. Thus granting the organization’s owners more political power than they had as an individual.

Except that’s not how they implemented it. Somehow organizing grants you EXTRA rights over being an individual. Suddenly you get an avenue to get around personal contribution limits, on top of retaining your original personal contributions allowance…

Yeah, I went to school for it. Never broke in. Ended up with a much better and wayyyy more stable job.

One of the statistics relies on who is applying for Unemployment Insurance payments.
Which run out if you’re on them for 6 months in a year. So that stat starts to get really unreliable after July, and gets worse as it approaches December.

Obama brought in free healthcare
Well that didn’t happen. He brought us a Republican healthcare plan that cemented private insurance into our system and fined people who didn’t have any. The public option got dropped because of captured senators refusing to vote on the bill unless it was removed.
