  Your pitch could use some work. You described the basic mechanics of every other mmo with this, but I don’t have a feel for what sets yours apart from any other.

      I didn’t mean to imply your game was lacking in complexity. But even this article is just ticking boxes for: bosses, loot tiers, etc. it’s all very generic sounding.

      Honestly, I find the pitch can be the hardest part about developing a game. You want to be able to describe your game in twenty seconds or less while still pointing to something unique about it.

      It’s way easier said than done, but that’s the attention span you have to deal with sometimes. Many people take less than a second to decide if they’re going to pass on a game.
