Anecdotal, but several people I know who used to get loads of spam calls noticed a very significant and lasting decline in frequency after signing up for www.easyoptouts.com. Seems like a good thing to do anyway, might be worth trying if you struggle with this.

They do but don’t use Proton. They’re very lazy about their VPN implementations and the clients to be very leaky in general. Plus they neglect all their linux apps.

Generally speaking people who need mental health help are going to be more easily discouraged by a negative interaction than the general population even if they can afford therapy in the first place. In the US at least there’s also a shortage of therapists, meaning you might have to wait a long time to see anyone at all.
