- Comment on Japanese Developer Behind Tech That Studio Ghibli's Hayao Miyazaki Called an 'Insult to Life Itself' to Release Cosy God Sim Game - IGN 5 days ago:
I agree with punctuation being almost a lost art, but I also didn't find the title that cryptic.
- Comment on The developers of PEAK, explaining how they decided on pricing for their game. 5 days ago:
Oh get out. Would you prefer "hey this game costs $60 cause it's an AAA, and anyway now 70 will become the standard cause we know that some sucker will still buy em"?
At least PEAK it's a fun little game with a decent price. - Comment on Unity launches Walmart SDK to "seamlessly integrate products" into games 2 weeks ago:

I may be wrong, didn't follow the series much, but wasn't Diablo2 BBEG the player from the first one turned evil?
- Comment on What challenge from a game isn't worth completing and what challenge from a game is worth completing? 3 weeks ago:
I have the "Completionist" achievement for Half-Life2 cause it was a fun challenge to get them all (yes even the gnome one), but gave up on Osmos: fun and relaxing game, but the last levels were too much hassle.

Diablo spoiler?
- Comment on Ubisoft target audience when they play a good game 3 weeks ago:
This makes me think that the guy ran through the game instead of playing it. Just because what happened isn't spoonfed it doesn't mean it's not there.
Reminds me of all the haters of Dear Esther. - Comment on A Man Bought Meta's AI Glasses, and Ended Up Wandering the Desert in Search of Aliens 3 weeks ago:
Presenting them as the sentient computers seen in movies helps sales, and false or hyperbolic claims have been part of advertisement for decades.

Why bother catching the criminals on Jan 6th? They'll all get pardoned anyway.
- Comment on X now lets any user AI-edit other users’ images without consent, and there is no opt out 5 weeks ago:
So that means I can edit a lot of Elon's pictures?
- Comment on The crossover you've been waiting for 1 month ago:
Today I'm glad to have bad memory.
- Comment on GitHub - scallyw4g/bonsai: The procedural generation voxel engine 1 month ago:
That's true, but as we have seen several times a huge world isn't enough, you also have to put something interesting in it. Anyway I don't want to seem a Negative Nancy, it's incredible that this engine can create such a huge world without requiring hundreds of GBs.
- Comment on That's what's up! 1 month ago:
His mom didn't miss any beer, mmh?

Well it's a phrase for those of "not-PhD" level.
- Comment on Is audiophile bullshit cheating? 1 month ago:
You could also call them moneyfobes, cause they sure like to throw money away for negligible differences in sound quality.
I recently had to change my earphones, and it was a real odyssey cause in lots of guides the "low end" started with at least a couple zeros. - Comment on Something similar to an Ent, probably. 1 month ago:
And probably a visit from the Avengers.

- Comment on We put the new pocket-size vinyl format to the test—with mixed results 2 months ago:
Using a format that's unplayable by current turntables is dumb and doomed to fail.
Unless they're planning to sell an exclusive player for their format, which is dumb and doomed to fail. - Comment on A cool feature/mechanic you want to see in games again 2 months ago:
Palworld has craftable grapple guns that make for easier exploring...
Unless you prefer your fire-breathing flying mount. - Comment on I respect choice for the name of the game 2 months ago:
It's cool, cause you also have a place where to hide the body afterwards.
- Comment on TV has a burn-in image that has moved over time 2 months ago:
Yeah there's usually some led strips and a thin white plastic sheet to help reflect and even out the light; the one inside a friend of mine's TV got yellowish and brittle (because old and cheap) and drooped inside, resulting in weird shadows and spots.
- Comment on [Gamer's Nexus was] Contacted by the US Secret Service | The AI Surveillance Center Dystopia 2 months ago:
Given the topic, it's better if you specify that you're talking about AMD 😄
- Comment on "Nevertheless, the vaginal sounds that were sent will have reached Epsilon Eridani in 1996 and Tau Ceti in 1998. It is unclear what sort of reply we should expect." 2 months ago:
Or the perfectly reasonable response to intergalactic transmission of unsolicited coochie sounds.
