  Yeah there's usually some led strips and a thin white plastic sheet to help reflect and even out the light; the one inside a friend of mine's TV got yellowish and brittle (because old and cheap) and drooped inside, resulting in weird shadows and spots.

  Anyway, for me at least, RedBull et al. taste like cherry-similar, some off brands had "all fruits" listed as flavour additive.

  Caffeine, like many other things, is harmful only in excessive amounts. If you drink some just for the flavour it shouldn't be a problem.
